5 out of 5 stars Very pleased   July 30, 2008
L. Leahy
For our four year old twin grandson's birthday we purchased a white and green hot wheels and are so delighted with these toys. They far exceeded what we bought from a local store. The boys were so pleased that we ordered another for their brother. These seem durable and go very fast over several varieties of terrain. Amazon's service was terrific in making sure the toys were here for the birthday and in sending the third one to the boys' house in a very timely fashion.

5 out of 5 stars Awesome car for the money   July 12, 2008
Imyourmomma (new york, USA)
This thing rocks. I bought it to replace a defective Batmobile for my 3 year old son. He can only go forward and reverse at full speed, but loves it just the same. He's learning how to drive it though, slowly but surely.

I had to put clear tape on the wheels so the thing couldnt get going at full speed in the house and so it could do donuts and stuff. Without the tape, you need to have it outside because it is really fast.

This is no RC10 or nitro rig, but for the price you certainly can not beat it. I found a few extra rechargeable batteries on clearance at TRU, they were like six bucks each. Well, worth the investment.

I would definetly recommend this to anyone who wants an RC car but doesnt wanna spend a lot of money.

5 out of 5 stars A Great RC car for the value   March 25, 2008

I bought the green version of this car for my son this past Christmas. I was thrilled to see that this one's gone on sale, as it has the 27 MHz remote control. Now we will be able to run the cars side by side. I researched RC cars prior to my purchase. [...]:

The site has a video link to the car in action. It highly recommends getting the battery pack, and I do too, as the performance will increase significantly. Battery pack will add about $20 to the cost, but probably worth it in the long run as you won't burn through tons of batteries.

4 out of 5 stars 4 Yr Old Tuff and Tumble   January 1, 2008

I bought this car for my 4 year old son and am glad for it. I wish I had gotten one for my older boy as well. Tough as can be. We build a make shift ramp and the boys lauched it off with glee. Tuff and Tumble was the order of the day.

5 Stars... not quite. Performance with the AA batteries was in and out most of the time - possibly interference or defective receiver.

Outside of that - a very fun toy.

5 out of 5 stars Bulletproof   December 29, 2007

Gotta tell ya these little trucks are a lot of fun and very durable. My son and i have the green and white ones so we can race together and we have a ball.We don't flip or crash them on purpose but they get a lot of that during normal play. We own probably 20 rc toys and these are definitely robust. For only 9.6volt these are almost as fast as our 19.2 volt cars. They are the fastest 9.6v we have. A lot of bang for your buck.
