4 out of 5 stars Highly recommended.   August 28, 2008
Tomasz A. Wojewoda (Seattle, WA USA)
This truck is huge and fast. Not to be confused with the 1:8 or 1:10 models that in pictures look the same. This one uses two batteries and moves, other do not.

1 out of 5 stars Don't buy!!! Ours lasted only 1 day!!!!   August 20, 2008
Stormin Norman (Lake Arrowhead, CA USA)
Our $[...] New Bright car lasted 1 day. It took a month to get a new battery. After charging the new battery and placing it in the car, the car immediately began to smoke. This was almost 45 days after the initial purchase. New bright stated they no longer made this car and would send another car. We have never received a replacement.

If yours breaks, don't contact new bright; send it back to the store you purchased it from.

4 out of 5 stars very good toy for the money   July 30, 2008
Gregory J. Roberts (usa)
Big and bad and a lot of fun. Battery power last about 20min or less in the grass. Fast and I think worth the money. However be careful in picking it up the step bar broke easily on mine right away.

5 out of 5 stars Good Fun   July 4, 2008

I bought this Land Rover off amazon because I wanted something big. Well, it's big. I had to take it out of the box to get it into the car but i had a smile on my face. The truck motors over grass, sand and rocks pretty nicely.. it's great overall. I got addicted to trucks after getting sick of nitromethane cars and the headaches of keeping them running, and electric is that much more peaceful. The gf likes to tan on the beach and I always bring the land rover (and my 1/10 new bright FJ cruiser rock crawler) and explore the beach.

Anyways, this is not a rock crawler... it won't tackle huge rocks and curbs but it makes up for it with the power and all around control and speed. The best thing to do would be to get two more 19.2 batteries for back up but that is the same with any electric rc car.

Buy it! I might get another.

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic toy & price!!   May 30, 2008

I love the Land Rover! It is HUGE!! Every thing is included in the box, no running out to buy batteries. Memorial Day I took it to my sisters and we all played with the land rover. Everyone, even the older folks wanted a go at it. Easy to control, rechargable batteries lasted a very long time.
Seems to be made well too. Even though it got rammed into some stuff it didn't hurt it all. Its awesome!!
