This item is part of the "Travel" themed gifts from Santa to my 7 year old daughter. Sometimes it is hard to get a real feel for items just looking at the picture (even though amazon does a great job with pictures). I already knew what the koala looked like because I saw it in a local store but without the case. The koala does not have a white chest/stomach as other plush koalas do, it's all gray. The case is a heavy stock cardboard which I am a little worried about because my daughter might crush it in a matter of hours. Not that I think this is bad item, it just might not be good for those who are rough with their toys. I think I was expecting something more substantial because I saw some Steiff bears with cases in a local store and the cases where nicer. However, they also came with the Steiff price tag.
