Webkinz are very popular, and this particular one is my daughter's favorite. It's soft and adorable. For my older child, the educational value is more aligned with the website, doing "work" to earn "money" and build out her Webkinz living space; For my younger child, it's more the sense of responsibility, sharing, and seeking stability from a friend who's always willing to hug!

Santa brought Lil Kinz Koala for one daughter and the WebKinz Koala for the other and they love them. They are logged on as often as they are allowed. I will say that the actual plush toy isn't the main attraction, it's the virtual animal. They take it pretty seriously. I was pleasantly surprised by the plush toy though. Very cute and soft.
