4 out of 5 stars Great toy   September 25, 2008
Terri C. Walker (Austin, TX USA)
I ordered this for my 7 month old, and my toddler enjoys it just as much as he does!! It really is a fun toy, with two openings for the balls to go through. If the "on" button is on, it counts your successful shots and plays music. This is good for teaching numbers up to 10. The bat is a good accessory too- soft and durable. I am pleased to have purchased this.

5 out of 5 stars *crowd cheers* for this toy   April 29, 2008

I'm glad I saw this in the store and bought it on impulse...because I probably wouldn't have done so if I'd read all the negative reviews on here first.

This is a great toy, and my 9-month old son loves it!

The basketball hoop is his favorite part. He picked it up right away and started making baskets to hear the cheer and the funky music. I think the hoop is an EXCELLENT way for children to learn cause and effect. Once or twice the ball has gotten "caught up" on the little lever in the basket, and he lifts up and peeks in there like "HEYYYY, why isn't my ball dropping??"

I'm confused about why others thought this was too small. I think it's the perfect size for a sitting little one. What size did people expect it to be?

I don't really understand the bat with the baseball. He's too young to understand the concept of hitting the ball with the bat, and I don't know that he'd be able to do it to actually move the ball. It's lots of fun for the baby to just twirl the ball around and listen to the clicking, though. Sure, the football is just a rattle, but it's still fun. And I don't know what else other people expected it to do. ???

This is a great toy. Glad I bought it.

My 9 month old daughter loves this toy. She enjoys putting the balls in the basket and turning the football and baseball around. She uses it to pull up on also, and it is quite sturdy. Great buy!

5 out of 5 stars Too cute   December 24, 2007

I bought this for my son who is 9 months old. Right now he enjoys playing with the balls and the bat. My daughter is 2 and also enjoys this toy. It counts how many times she makes a basket.
