Tis gun is so cool. When I bought it and went home to try it out, it shot so far on the first try. It shot like a good 95 feet. Pretty strong for a toy gun. I also tried the N-Strike version of this but didn't work out great. I rather buy this one. For $8, I thought, this must not be that great. I bought 2 on the spot, and took them home. Boy, was I wrong.
Out of the box, it's already got some great distance, but once you modify it, you can get double that. Band it for an extra 10 or 15 feet. Of course, the light os only useful at the stock(out of the box) distance. So what do you do? Cut it off. It takes half of the weight off the gun, and it will fit into a holster. This is an easy gun to modify, shoot, reload, and cock.
If you're debating on buying this, wait no longer.

This Nerf gun is awesome! It shoots great! Its laser thing works okay if you are shooting about 15 feet away from your target. It is easy to modify (if you no what your doing) and by simply removing one part gets about an extra 10 feet. The only bad thing is that it only has a single shot barrel.

this gun is good but is even better if you modify it.open it up and unscrew the big tube in the top.throw away the tiny spring and the 3 pronged piece, as well as the barrel.punch the middle out of the other two with a screw driver.put them back, then hot glue 4 inches of 17/32 brass on the end.put this back in the gun, screw it in,and close it up.then rubber band it and it is a million times better.the laser is fun too.it s a good sidearm for a nerf war.

The Nite Finder is so cool! When I got it, i placed the darts in it and when i fired it and it only went two feet away. But then I found out that you needed to push it all the way inside. I fired it again and it went kinda far! I also got some Dart Tag refills for it and it went 40 feet away! (I know this because used a measuring tape.) Then I got the suction cup darts that came with it and it only went 15 or 20 feet. If you buy this get some Dart Tag refills or the Sonic dart refills.
