"Old School" Fun! November 17, 2008 James P. Foster (Virginia Beach, VA United States) Who thought throwing a plastic ball could be this much fun. Just like I remembered from 25 years ago. These "racquets" allow you to throw for a mile! Risers, sinkers, curves, or just go deep. Only bummer is that they no longer come with the foam ball that you could curve 20 feet.
One of the best backyard games ever invented November 9, 2008 Charles Evans (North Carolina) Trac Ball is just as much fun today as you remember it as a kid. While growing up my friends and I developed dozens of Trac Ball related games. Some were like LaCrosse while others were like a stationary version of Hockey (two people and two goals). We developed new techniques for putting spin on the ball and created ball flights that seemed to defy the laws of physics. It is now 20 years later and I have found that my wife and I still enjoy Trac Ball as a way to get some exercise. Unlike baseball or football it is easy to play catch with Trac Ball and not worry about giving your significant other a black eye! Pros - - Easy to learn - Maintains its "fun" by the number of ways you can learn to curve the ball. - Very easy to "invent" games - Safe - the ball is lightweight plastic - Fun for all ages - I have been playing since I was about 5 years old - Everything is plastic so it is completely water proof... fun for the beach, unless the ball floats away in the water. Final tally - 5 stars
Great exercise even for adults! May 23, 2008 D. BUNCH (Japan) Keep the box for safe keeping and prevent damage to your product. They are kind of fragile and could bend or crack under weight so I wouldn't recommend keeping in a car that you would throw junk into!
LOVE THIS GAME! September 28, 2006 K. Branham (Anaheim, CA USA) We already have this game and love to play it, especially at the beach where there is a lot of room. We're buying another one for a gift for my niece.
It's just as much fun as when I was a kid!!! February 28, 2006 Jeff S. Hurley (Houston, Tx.) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is some of the best gaming action I have had with my kids in a while. I pumped the game up alot before it arrived. They were stolked and fighting for a turn to play. We played until we had to go for a previous commitment. The next day they were ready to go again.Great for eye hand coordination and they learn not to be scared of the ball. It seems to float from one raquet to the other while curving and dipping. The distance is GREAT it gives them time to coordinate the catch.
