5 out of 5 stars Perfect for smaller than rated children   July 5, 2008
Patricia F. Estay (Miami, Fl)
I saw an 18 month old girl in this toy and quizzed the family; they'd bought it several months previously. I got one for my 10 month old...even though I was surprised to see that it is for 2-4 year olds. He loves it...and it is our fifth and last floatie to buy. He can go up the stairs of the pool and down...fall in the water without it being a problem...and lets him play without my hovering...getting my bathsuit pulled on, ect. I still stay in the water with him...of course..but this allows him to actually play in the water with me close by and interacting with all of my children instead of just the littlest one. I am stoked. Very happy mom of three children, all under the age of five.

3 out of 5 stars close supervision necessary   May 5, 2008

of course there needs to be close supervision in a pool setting. however, i was hoping this product would allow my son (2yrs 29 lbs) a little more freedom. the product makes my son tip forward, so it is necessary to have a hand on the front of the raft at all times. i was hoping he could kick around a bit, but i need to be right there with him so he doesn't tip forward and get a mouth full of water. i will continue to use this product but i was a bit disappointed.

4 out of 5 stars Great float device to build confidence..Wont tip   March 24, 2008
Stephen Elias (Montreal, Quebec Canada)
Great product. I've bought one for each of my kids over the years. My first one was a hand me down from 2 of my wife's family. It's really sturdy, just make sure not to over inflate. And if you even have a hold in it, don't bother trying to patch it up, it's cheap enough to just buy a new one.

My kids loved it and it absolutely built their confidence around the water.

Later!

Go Habs Go!!!

5 out of 5 stars Great swim trainer!   December 1, 2007

My daughter started using this at 13 months old and has loved being independent in the pool ever since. At first she was a little unstable (would roll forward or to the side) but she has since been able to "feel" the water and help herself balance by using her arms and legs. A great teaching tool for water independence! I also enjoy being able to kick laps while pushing her in the swim sweater.

5 out of 5 stars EXCELLENT swim tube for toddlers!   September 17, 2007
LMT (Phoenix, AZ)
When my daughter started walking 3 months ago, she suddenly wanted more "independence" in the pool! We first tried the tube with the built-in suit, but it was not supportive enough for her. (She is 16 months old.) After reading reviews of the swim sweater, I bought it and my daughter loves it! It's VERY supportive and now she feels like she's "swimming". I would highly recommend this for toddlers who love the water.
