Product Description Kids Play For Hours With This Great Pool Toy From Swimways. The Twister Toypedo Is Made Like The Original Toypedo, But When You Throw It Under Water, It Twists! Twister Now Glows In The Dark. Color May Vary.
Editorial Review Yet another piece of ordnance from the Toypedo arsenal, the Toypedo Twister makes for some serious swimming pool fun. A foot-long, hard rubber torpedo (about 2 inches in girth), the Twister can be hurled underwater up to 40 feet with one strong-armed throw. True to its name, the slightly angled guide fins on the Twister will send it into a tight spiral--making it not just incredibly accurate, but a lot of fun to watch. Better still, the Twister's marbled rubber body glows in the dark. It's perfect for late night pool parties. --Paul Hughes

Glow in the dark torpedo July 27, 2008 P. Jones (Kansas) Grandson wanted this so bad so ordered for him. He loves it and throws it into the pool and dives after it. It does glow in the dark...sort of. It is well made and sturdy. Will be able to use year after year.
Toypedo twister experience September 15, 2007 J. W. THOMAS (USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Item is a streamlined version of the original toypedo. This tends to make it go faster and farther. I think the best way to throw it is overhand, like a knife, where you release it from the hand just at/below the water suface. This kind of throw takes a slight forward lunge movement upon release, and an index finger at the top of the toypedo to make it go straight. Also motivates kids to put their head in the water. This advances swimming skills because they have to dive to the bottom of the pool to recover it. The twister rotation makes go straight. Its a great improvment on the original already well-designed toy
Great Toy for the Price! November 6, 2006 T. S. Freeman (Pittsboro IN) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This came from a partner of Amazon, and it was received in a very timely manner. The children (ages 9 and 11) absolutely LOVE this toy in their pool. As their grandmother, I was pleased that they played with in all summer long amnd never tired of it.
mom of 5 boys August 10, 2005 Fun Mom 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This has been an great pool toy! It is not "nerf foam." It is hard rubber. It works just as advertized... it really can go as long as 40 feet. It takes a minute to figure out the best way to throw it, but then the fun is never-ending. My boys range in age from 12 years to 1 year. The one year old has bit into it numerous times and has barely left a mark. THIS TOY IS TONS OF FUN!
Great fun and durable! August 2, 2005 EDF (Florida) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
These things are a blast. We have two now, one for daytime and the kind with blinking lights for night time. They are both hard rubber so I don't know why that person said it was styrofoam. (I reported his review as inappropriate, he's just plain wrong.) Best way to throw: hold it a couple inches below the water and with a hand on EACH side shoot it forward. WEEEEEE!!!
