Great Slide - Hit of the Neighborhood November 4, 2008 L. Frederick We bought this slide in May 2008 and had a fantastic summer with it. It is very big and we stored it in one of those kiddy plastic pools. We'd set it up in the morning and it easily accomodated all of the 12 kids 8 and under in our neighborhood. The only drawbacks are that it is a bit of a pain to dry out. It really could have used better holes and drainage spots. But that is a minor thing - I very much recommend it.
WOW! The kids are loving it! September 21, 2008 M. Mansfield (Knoxville, TN) I just unpacked this water park toy and the instructions are easy to follow if you take your time. Don't worry too much about the water hoses...they can be hooked up after the thing is inflated. My kids played on it yesterday for 5 hours and today they're wide open again on it...with a number of neighbor kids over. My children are 4, 5 and 10 and they all love it. I am impressed with the quality of the fabric and blower. The stitching looks pretty durable too. We'll see over time but right now after two days, it's a hit.
Water slide review - fun but nout durable September 2, 2008 A. Marasco (Doylestown, PA) Great fun, not durable as I already need a replacement product after 1 use. Water leaked into the interior and several small tears. Manufacturer was great about replacement. Difficult to dry out and store at end of season. But at end of season almost 1/2 price...
Great Fun August 8, 2008 T. Mesmer We have had a lot of fun with this slide. My kids play for 4-5 hrs at a time on it without showing any signs of stopping. We decided we needed to get about 35 uses out of it in order to be as cost effective as the local pool. PROS: It is great fun for kids. It is very durable my kids have been rough on it (enough to make me cringe). It inflates very quickly. It puts away easily (30 mins not counting drying time). Its in your own back yard. The fan is very quiet, (you won't even notice it). It fits in the bag it came with quite easily (second try and every time since). No mud puddles on my grass. So far we have no regrets. CONS/DESIGN FLAWS: Slide needs an inexpensive petcock valve on each cannon that can regulate flow or shut off completely. The cannons become bothersome for little ones and continue to fill the pool when you don't want them to. If you had very high water pressure, which I don't, this problem could be considerable. The slide is hard to dry out. Water gets inside the slide and is very difficult to get out. It says this is normal on the side of the slide. It also says it may take 2 days to get the slide dry. If you leave it up that long it will kill your lawn and one of the selling points for me is to be able to put it away each night so I can run my sprinkler system. COME ON MANLEY!! Most of the water gets caught in the base of the stairs and can't be worked out of the fill tubes very easily. A capped drain low on the base in a few strategic locations such as the BASE OF THE STAIRS, would lessen my problems considerably, or open up that compartment inside a little more so water doesn't get trapped inside. Others may not have this problem to the extent that I do if there lawn is perfectly flat or if circumstances allow positioning with stairs to the high side. As it stands my stairs are at the low point and my options are limited. I thought my lawn was perfectly flat until I put up this slide. Some of the stitching is flawed and poorly finished as well, although none of these spots have been a problem so far. The only other consideration is the weight. It is fairly heavy (over 115 lbs easy) more if still wet. I use a four wheeled dolly to move it around and store it on. Small moms should purchase a wheeled cart of some kind (large wagon) or store it close to where it is used. I have no regrets. It is a great product so far. I could use a few minor improvements like the ones mentioned above. If it lasts for two seasons I will be satisfied. If it doesn't last that long I won't buy another. Time will tell.
Lots of FUN!!! July 30, 2008 C. M. Boyea-Quiton (Aiea, Hawaii) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This waterslide is so much fun for the kids. The neighborhood kids will all have a blast. Only thing I would have to complain about would be that with all the kids using the slide the seams tear easily. We have a hole in it already, but we have it duck taped and it is good to go for more play.
