Built for kids, Twin Blast Rapids holds up to tons of wear and tear. View larger.
Sliding And Splashing Fun
The fun starts by scaling the climbing wall of one of the two slides. Pick the blue slide and shoot through the tunnel or choose the big, red curving slide and end with a splash in the giant splash pool. With an incline and constant water spray from above to keep the slides wet, there's no need to get a running start or do a belly flop to get going. Supporting up to 400 pounds, the twisting double slide even lets you race your friends to the pool below. Of course, you can just splash and play in large pool, too.

Tough Enough For Child's Play
Built for kids, Twin Blast Rapids holds up to plenty of wear and tear -- even sugar-induced crazes. Heavy-duty Dura-Tech construction ensures lasting strength and durability while the constant airflow helps resist small tears and punctures.

And because kids' attention spans come and go, all this fun inflates in less than three minutes with the included continuous-airflow blower motor. The blower easily attaches to any hose for easily setting up Twin Blast Rapids on grass, sand, light mulch --- even pea sized pebbles. If working with dirt, parents can take the extra precaution of removing rocks and covering the surface with a tarp. But with the reward of becoming most popular adult on the block, it'll be worth the effort.

What's in the Box

5 out of 5 stars The Slide is a Blast   October 3, 2008
Stingr65 (Jacksonville, FL USA)
After reading some reviews about this slide I was worried it would not hold up. However, I had a birthday party for my 6 year old and I had 13 kids playing on this slide for about 3 hours. There ages ranged from 2 to 12 years old. There were no issues. You need to supervise the kids somewhat or they will do things it was not made for. It takes quite a bit of time to dry out. It was definitely worth the $$ and I highly recommend it. I'm 6' and 190 lbs and had a blast going down it several times. I don't recommend someone my size sliding down on a regular basis but it held up just fine. You will need to buy a container to store it, I bought a 55 gallon bin from Walmart and it barely fits, cover won't close. I recommend a larger container. Hope this helps someone who is undecided. If something bad happens I will report it but so far this slide is a blast.

5 out of 5 stars Fun slide   July 21, 2008

Purchased this slide 1.5 weeks ago. Its been used 5 times now. Used by children 2-8 yrs old. Made well. 1st time assembly took 25 mins. After U get the hang of assembling it, it takes under 10 mins. Takes a full day w/ the blower on to actually dry out, which helps when putting it away. Kids definitely love it. No one has gotten hurt on it yet. You have to help the 2 yr olds climb up but then off they go and around they came back for more. Some grass from their feet get into the pool. The lawn gets soaked but if U remove it from your lawn within 24 hrs. the grass was fine. Blows up very quickly. Blower is not noisy. Some air stays inside, so when storing it, U have to sqeeze out the air. [...] Stitching has held together so far. No problems w/ leaks or holes. The kids love it and it keeps them cool and happy, and I dont have to drive anywhere.

We had one of the first bonzai slides and it ripped out in less than a year, which was only 4 times of being used. We replaced it with this one. I bought it for my sons 3rd birthday and it was a huge hit. He constantly asks me to set up the slide. My husband and I even played with him on it and we are in our 40's. This model is very well made. My dog chewed a hole in it and the slide remained inflated without being affected. It would be better if the water flow rate was adjustable. The water is provided by a garden hose and is supplied to the two slides. One tends to get a larger portion of the water flow. I adjusted this using a medical tubing clamp on one hose. A very simple plastic clamp could fix this.

We set up this slide and had every kid in the neighborhood was at our place. I can't remember when that last time we heard so much laughter and screams of joy. This slide builds memories of a life time. Never had toys like this one I was a kid.
