"I need a bounce break" October 8, 2008 Mom of boys in WI (Wisconsin, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My eight-year-old son absolutely LOVES this toy. It is fun and easy to use indoors and outdoors. With just the right inflation (not too much or it is hard to manage) he is able to bounce around downstairs anytime he feels the need for a "bounce break." Now I am looking to purchase one for his cousin's Christmas gift.
FUN! But mind the age range... August 5, 2008 J. R. Carlisle (United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Definitely mind the age suggestion on this product. We bought this for our just turning 6 year old, and honestly, it's too hard for him. BUT, it's very sturdy and I'm certain as he grows it will become a favorite. He's just not coordinated enough to use it, yet. Once he gets it, it will be great! And it will help with coordination and strength.
Don't waste your money June 20, 2008 Dawna Van Buren (California) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this for my 9 year old daughter at Christmas 2007. She saw the commercials and wanted it really bad. She has never been able to master this toy and none of her friends have either. It requires a lot of coordination and it is very clumsy to try and use. I think she was only able to get up on this thing once but it only lasted about 10 seconds before she was down again. Now it just sits in her closet unused and we've tried to give it away, but nobody wants it either. Don't waste your money on this toy and buy a regular pogo stick. She just got one for her birthday and enjoys it much better.
Zoingo Boingo March 3, 2008 C. Oneil (Upstate NY) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
The zoingo boingo is both fun and great for fitness! My 10 year old overweight (4'6", 118 lbs)grandson just LOVES it! It took him no time at all to master it...he competes against himself - counts the bounces - it's amazing how long he can stay on it! It also can be used in the house - I gave it to him for Christmas and we live in the northeast so the house is the only place he has been able to use it in - I have a basement apartment underneath me and this toy is surprisingly quiet! I am SO glad I found it! Much safer than a regular pogo stick and easier to master!
One of our favorite toys from 17 years of raising children! January 2, 2008 A. Smith 16 out of 16 found this review helpful
We gave the zoingo boingo to our six-year-old son, knowing that, with a weight limit of 143 lbs, all seven of the kids could use it (except for the toddler-- too young). Our kids all seem to have higher than average energy levels and seem constantly in motion, and egging each other on. Once one of them starts an active game, soom several are joining in. They have been having contests with the zoingo boingo to see who can achieve the most bounces. Even the teenagers love this toy. It has been one of the most popular toys from Christmas, and one of the best purchases we have made in seventeen years of raising our children. The zoingo boingo is sturdy. It can be used indoors or out. It appears easy to dismount from; we have not seen any injuries yet from kids falling off and getting hurt. In addition, it doesn't take up much room when not in use. In my experience, kids who have good outlets for their energy use it constructively much of the time. Toys like this can actually help siblings get along in that sense. I highly recommend this for just about everyone! I suppose if you have an extremely timid or quiet child, your particular child might not enjoy it, but I think the vast majority of kids will love it.
