It was love at 1st site with this cottage. We bought it for her 2nd birthday and after just a few minutes of set up we were in it making tea and opening the windows, etc. As a mom, I love this cottage because it's more sturdy then the other nylon ones. This has a lightweight frame that really creates the affect of a cottage house. The flowers on the outside are stuck on with velcro so they come off easily. It's bright and cheery and has a large side that drops down. Our daughter likes to take her vaccuum and clean inside to get it ready for a tea party. It has a floor that also vecros in which makes it feel like you are at home. There's a couple of windows one that opens like shutters and another that can be used to peak a head out as our daughter has demostrated over and over. It's a real gem and priced right. The extra features a carrying bag with handle, easy instructions, colorful decor and sturdy, yet gentle to touch material makes this a cottage I would like to live in!

I was disappointed when it arrived because it was different from the picture shown here. The colors are brighter, the roof is not padded, it does not have shutters and the door is a thin piece of cloth that rolls down. Also I thought it would be for indoor and outdoor use as advertised but it is explicitely written on the box that it is for indoor and not outdoor use. The flowers are huge and I am not very fond of their colors.
Also we had a little bit of a problem with the poles. One did not come out right but we could fix the problem by ungluing its end.
Other than this, it is still a cute house and I like the fact that it opens completely on one side.

My daughter got this for Christmas and loves it! My hubby assembled it in a snap and it also looks great in our living room. I can see her enjoying it for years as it has a great deal of potential for imaginative play. She has already had a tea party in their with our pug.

Our little one year old girl loves this house. She takes her toys in, reads her books in it, trys to park her bike in it, and peeks out the windows and doors. The fabric seems very durable, and it is nice not to be looking at some coorperate figure in our living room all the time (Elmo, Dora, etc.) It was very easy to put together and take down which is good when you have company.
Only one complaint, there is one side of the house that opens all the way to the ground but leaves a 3 inch lip of fabric that our daughter keeps tripping over. You can not see this side in the picture. The side attaches back to the house with velcro and we are thinking about replacing it with snaps so it doesn't keep coming undone.
Other than that we reccomend this product. Spend the money on one good toy!
