Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
The DoinkitTM Dart set was designed with one thing in mind... To develop the best playing magnetic dart set on the planet. We think we succeeded. Each of our acclaimed DoinkitTM Darts uses N-35 Neodymium rare earth magnetsTM (Neodymium is a more expensive magnet than Aluminum Nickel Cobalt (Alnico) and of course much more costly than standard ceramic magnets). Combined with our space age DoinkitTM material that is light, durable and keeps the dart always flying perfectly true, we feel we have the perfect dart. This is the finest, most well designed and balanced magnetic dart set made at any price! Comes with 6 perfectly balanced (6.23 gms.) darts with Neodymium magnets that will work on any magnetic dartboard. Mftr. says Ages 3 and Up, we recommend 6 and Up

5 out of 5 stars High-end quality   October 23, 2008

This is a vast improvement over other child-safe dart games, and the board's 3-D graphics were so convincing I had to touch it to realize it was all a flat, smooth surface.

The darts really are very well weighted, and throw true. Board requires some consideration on its mounting location: the darts are heavy, and will put small dents in drywall.

This is a fun game and because it uses magnets you don't have to worry about the kids stabbing each other or your walls. One of the magnets was not strong enough to hold though...guess we got a dud. Other than that, it's great and the kids love it.

My 7 year old sons love to play darts. These are much safer than with original darts. The magnets are very strong. My husband and I also have fun playing darts as well. As far as the educational value, my boys are learning adding and subtracting when we play for points. The best of all this toy doesn't have batteries and it does get them away from the tv and video games. This is a great purchase.

Doink-it darts is a fun toy of good quality. The magnets are powerful and they stick each time it's used. Good price for the money.

5 out of 5 stars Better than expected   February 7, 2007

This toy works very well! I was very surprised that the magnetic pull of the darts was as strong as it was. Granted, one of the magnets fell out of a dart after only 2 days, but not that big of a deal..a bit of glue does the job. I like this one much better than the velcro ones...every bit of fuzz, pet hair...whatever gets stuck in those after seconds of it being out of the box.

Overall, I consider this a good purchase. My son loves that he can play darts while we play on our board.
