This kite is exacty what I was looking for: a small, cheap, easy-to-use but still fun kite for my 3-year kid.
He simply loves it, because he can carry it everywhere and a small breeze will make it fly.
The product quality is more than acceptable, no doubt it will fulfill its mission.
Go for it and fly it!

I bought 3 of these so the my daughter and her cousins wouldn't fight over the same one. They are pretty small and 1 of them wouldn't fly at all. The kids age 5 to 7 had a hard time getting the 2 that worked to fly at the beach (adult intervention was required).

We took this kite to the beach last summer and my 4 year old thoroughly enjoyed it. Dad had to help get it up in the air, but the 4 year old took over from there. It was almost impossible to get down! If you are going to the beach with young kids this summer, get this kite! Since it's made of nylon and heavy string, it's very durable. We had no frustrating moments with this one!

Got my 3-year-old niece one and loved to see her having SOOO much fun with it!! Lots of fun for a kid her size as it's so easy to fly and it actually WORKS GREAT! We lost it though, as it wasn't tightly tied onto the winder. But with all the enjoyment it provides, I went ahead and bought FOUR more, for all the kids in our family (and secured them tighly).
P.S.: Target sells it for $1.99.
