4 out of 5 stars Surefire Crossbow   December 29, 2007

I bought this crossbow for my younger grandchildren for christmas. It's pretty hard to pull the arrow and strings back to lock in a shot. It shoots pretty hard too. My older grandchildren (11 year olds) were able to use it much easier than the younger ones. All in all it's pretty neat toy for older kids, after a few lessons about shooting at each other because it does sting.

Much smaller product then I thought it was going to be. The darts don't shoot straight too often. Seems like the darts will fall apart in a month or so. The actual crossbow is built very well and the product should be fun for small children. Seems safe also

1 out of 5 stars Broke upon the first shot   February 2, 2007

It is hard to review this product since it broke the first time it was fired. It looks tremendously nice, but since we never saw any flying crossbow bolts it is not something I can recommend at this time.

We didn't return it since the price was so low and I didn't want to waste even 1/2 hour trying to work out an arrangement.
