Product Description This adventurous and versatile climber grows along with kids and provides multiple configurations and a variety of play patterns. The large slide can be attached either low or high to accommodate both younger and older children. Rock climbing walls adjust four ways to create an easy climb for younger kids, or a more challenging climbing area for older kids. Add to that a cargo net, and you get 360 degrees of climbing fun. A large fort under the climber is a fun hideout and a cool telescope lets kids watch for invaders. It measures 54"H x 102.5"W x 49"D.

Quick playground in your own backyard January 30, 2008 L. Wilkins We wanted something to occupy our child in our yard instead of always wanting to visit the neighbors. The Mountain Climber is a nice size for a playfort, easy to assembly and incredibly durable. We couldn't be more pleased with the purchase. It has 3 different sides for climbing depending on the age and coordination of your child. At a family gathering four boys ages 3,4,5,7 all played together on it with smiles. Easy to clean with garden hose and lasted well outdoors through winter season.
Dangerous Climber! Not For Toddlers! December 12, 2007 Ragi P. 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
I bought the little tikes adjustable mountain climber for my 2 year old. It is advertised for 2-8 year olds. Unfortunately, one side has a gigantic hole (due to lack of effective railing), and my child has lost her balance and almost broke her neck a few times by rolling off that side (fortunately, I raced to the side with the hole and rescued her in time). Since there are 4 sides, you really need at least 2 adults to watch the child so you can help the child climb up AND watch the dangerous side once they get up onto the platform. I would say a four year old is probably better on their feet to deal with the open platform with no effective railing side. However, the slide (even adjusted to the steepest angle) is not that steep, so a four year old would probably get bored. I even called Little Tikes to complain about this design defect (law suit waiting to happen!) and the consumer relations supervisor (G. Hines) just agreed with me and said there was nothing he could do about it.
I did extensive research December 5, 2007 Flgators (Florida, USA) I bought this for my 2yr. old daughter and I did extensive research on outdoor slides. My daughter absoultely loves it! I wanted to buy something that she wouldn't outgrow in a year and this is perfect. You can adjust the climber part in different ways and the slide goes to a higher incline for older children. I will admit it was HUGE! I have a 2003 Toyota 4-runner and I had to put down all the back seats, take all the pieces out of the box. Unless you have a large truck bed, you have to take it out of the box. As far as putting it together, it's pretty self explanatory except I suggest you have another person. Watch out for your grass (if you have nice grass) unless you move it around (2 ppl can) or have a non-grassy area, it leaves a square in your lawn where the grass will die. Other than that, I would highly suggest it..I got it for $199 (on sale)and it was well worth the price!
My Grandkids Love this!! November 7, 2007 Mary (Virginia) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My 4 year old grand-twins & their 3 year old brother have not stopped climbing all over this! The 3 year old has no problem climbing the rock wall. Greatest thing since sliced bread for active, now house-bound kids! We set it up in the play room (everything else went except a couch) because winter had arrived. My daughter and her 3 year old son put it together in about 20 minutes. I was really suprised at the size of it when it was set up, it will be good for years! The only problems are that the kids try to jump from the open platform to the couch, and sometimes they bang their heads on the telescope which is right over the slide entrance. The transport box is huge (which is why freight is so high)! If you are picking it up at the store, anyone who doesn't have a large pickup will need to take the largest vehicle(s) they have as the box is 5'x6' (or do like my daughter did, take it out of the box and try to fit the peices into a van and a Jeep!) Anyone for a slide as a front-seat passenger? (also the box may need to go if store will not trash it). Best buy I ever made (and I have the hand-made thank-you cards from the kids to prove it).
Great for backyard fun June 8, 2007 S. Arehart (PA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My 3 year old just loves this. He is a climber and we often visit playgrounds so he can climb and slide all he wants, but this is perfect for the backyard. He can go play and get some energy out without us having to leave the house, which is hard with 2 little ones. I thought he might get bored with it since it's smaller than the climbers at the playgrounds, but he will play on it for long periods of time. There are three ways to climb up, plus the slide so he goes up and down over and over and over. It does get hot in the sun though, beware!
