Editorial Review It's a three-alarm blaze of fun for youngsters with PlayHut's Twist 'N' Fold Fire Engine, another in their imaginative series of quick-to-assemble, spring-loaded, collapsible nylon mesh configurations. Here, a bright red, 49-by-24-inch, stylized rectangular fire truck replica, almost 3 feet tall, forms itself from the apparatus which, fully folded, fits into a bag no larger than a grocery sack. The only assembly required is to attach the nylon rear door (complete with a replica of a fire ax) and the inflatable steering wheel to the Velcro toggles on the main structure. Unfortunately, the included printed matter barely mentions these two extra pieces, leaving assemblers guessing as to how to attach them. The steering wheel is a no-brainer, but the back door panel possesses one toggle and there are four possible loops for it. Parents might also be annoyed by the fact that the foldaway instructions are twice as lengthy as those for setup. --Tony Mason

Great fun but TERRIBLE QUALITY September 28, 2008 mom22 My children love this tent but just 3 days after we bought it, I noticed two holes in the tent. I called and had a new tent sent out to me, assuming this one was a dud. When we received the new tent, I opened it for my kids and one of the metal pieces used to structure the tent, flung out. So, I examined the tent to find out where the piece came from. I found several places where they didn't complete the stitching for the seams so, the metal pieces were ready to fling out in several places plus, I found a small hole. My children love playing with this tent, it is lots of fun but so poorly made! I know it isn't possible that I have bought 2 duds! I paid $20 for this tent which I thought was pretty reasonable for something that my kids had so much fun with but I don't think it is worth paying $20 for something that is of such poor quality with holes in it and pieces that come apart. I am so disappointed!
Great play tent for the price May 12, 2008 nattums I bought this play tent for my 3 year old nephew and he loved it. It folds up to literally nothing, so it can be stored any where and not take up space. For the price I don't expect this to hold up forever and after 6 months he has already lost some interest in it, with getting new toys for his birthday. Also, my nephew is rough playing in it (along with my older nephews) and it has developed some rips but it was well worth the $20.00 I paid for it.
Imagination play is utilized May 2, 2008 T. Henderson (OH United States) The fire engine was bigger than I expected. It does take a lot of space in the house but my 3 year old loves it. He walks around carrying it with him like he's driving it. It can be folded so it is only 1/2 the size which is more reasonable for inside play. My 1 year old also enjoys trying to get in and out of it. I am happy with this purchase.
great buy January 20, 2008 C. Bailey This is one of the big hits of christmas in our house. It was bought for my 2 year old, who loves it but my 5 year old also loves to hide out in it. It folds up flat so it's easy to put out of the way when your tired of it. Will be purchasing some of these for birthday's. Great buy
A great play tent!! January 18, 2008 K. Wilson (New York, NY) This tent is so fun! My nephew loves it, especially all the openings and doors to peek out of! And, it folds up flat for storage.
