Not too shabby July 9, 2008 A. Montagner (Miami, FL USA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought these to fill up a ball-pit that we had bought for our 19 month old daughter. They are not too bad. They don't crush very easily but they do get dented very easily. The only way I could see them getting crushed is by an adult literally jumping on them. However, the benefit is that they are soft and won't hurt the child. I've been in the ball-pits of some fast food joints and those are very hard to the point that if thrown they could cause some damage. Basically, there is a trade-off. You can either get the ones that don't crush at all but they are made of very hard plastic and can hurt the kids. Or you can get some like these which get dented and can be crushed (by an adult) but do not cause harm if thrown. I've been in the ball-pit with my daughter and we have yet to crush one ball. Again, a few are slightly dented....but none are severely dented or completely crushed. The only major negative are the shipping and handling costs. I believe that they are a rip off....but not much you can do about that unless you buy them locally. My wife told me afterwards that she had found some at a local Toys-R-Us. They were cheaper in price but they also brought less. Overall, I am very happy with them. The only thing that would prevent me from buying them again are the shipping charges.
Stealing from you on S/H July 7, 2008 Kay Hobbs 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Do not buy these balls from CMS. They will charge you close to fofty dollars for s/h. I did not check their s/h because never dreamed I would be ripped off so much. Not a good company to spend your hard earned money because to me they same as steal it from you.
