4 out of 5 stars Years of INDOOR jumping fun!   December 2, 2007
Busy happy mommy (Upstate NY)

We bought this jump-o-lene 6 years ago when our firstborn was 2. She has enjoyed playing in it ever since. We now have 4 children and it was only within the past month when 3 of them were leaping in and out of it that it sprung any kind of leak. (And we take responsibility for too many of them being in it at once!) If you have the appropriate indoor space - away from walls or other obstacles - this is a great way to use up winter or yucky weather energy! All of our kids have enjoyed playing with it and jumping for long periods of time. We're going to replace it with another one. Definitely recommend using a pump/air compressor to inflate - and it's handy if you can leave it set-up for long periods of time. We were fortunate to have a playspace where we just left it assembled so that cut down on the hassles others mentioned of inflating and storage.

4 out of 5 stars Great Jump O Lene   January 26, 2007

This is a fantastic jump O Lene. Mine lasted for over a year (and that is with a cat in the house). Come on folks, why would you buy one of these indoor jumpers and then take it outside and then complain about it? Would anyone put together a bedframe outside and then try to bring it inside? This is not a tonka car; it is a big, borderline obnoxious but totally fun Jump O Lene. Kids love it. I had this exact model a couple years ago and kept it inflated with a hand pump (not recommended). Whats really nice is that each Octagon is self contained so that a leak won't deflate the entire jumper. Two concerns for you to ponder: 1. It is big and cumbersome to inflate/ deflate and it is hard to find a place to store it. 2. The chemical components are pretty nasty prior to being magically transformed into the plastic state. But if you are to indulge this is the one to buy.

1 out of 5 stars Better Buys Out There Than This Jumper   January 22, 2007

What a waste of both time and money! I bought this jumper after our other, heavier dutier one deflated. What a nightmare. It took me an hour and a half to just get this item blown up and I have a heavy duty electric air pump. All the individual compartments (octagons)were a real pain and they do not stay inflated, because the valves keep popping open when my daughter goes to jump. Even after if secure them, by pushing them all the way inside! Not only that, the bottom portion is not strong material - it never is fully inflated like you see in the picture. It has these indentions which I believe is due to the shape of the item itself. The picture of the jumper is very deceiving!! Not a good buy for any amount of money!

5 out of 5 stars Wonderful toy   January 9, 2007

This is a great toy! Not only is it a fun jumper, it's also a jungle gym for climbing in and out. It has provided hours of fun. The four year old loves it, even wants to put pillows in it and climb in for a nap. The one year old goes in and out the windows constantly. Great value.

2 out of 5 stars Poorly designed   January 2, 2007

While the kids love it, it's a headache for parents. It takes forever to inflate, even with an air compressor, thanks to many individual air chambers. As other reviewers noted, it's best not to leave it outside (the manufacturer recommends against it due to potential sun damage), but it's far too big to leave up inside the house. Not worth the time involved to set it up and take it down. I gave ours away.
