1 out of 5 stars Tootsie Roll Infant Costume   November 24, 2008
S. Rogers
While this is a cute outfit, it is cheaply made and could not possibly fit a baby who weighs more than 10 pounds, regardless of what the packaging says.

5 out of 5 stars Adorable costume!!   November 19, 2008
C&K's Mommy
This was a perfect baby costume! My son was about 16lbs when he wore this and it was a great fit! It is perfect for just about any halloween temp. We live in the mid-south and he just wore a brown long sleeve t-shirt and knit pants underneath, but if it had been cooler we could have dressed him with warmer clothes and it would have still been perfect! We got so many compliments on his costume and I loved that he was the only tootsie roll we saw!

4 out of 5 stars Cute   November 13, 2008
C. Neal (Chicago)
Well this costume was a real hit. It was so cute on my 4 month old and was durable. Still don't think the price was good but the costume was cute.

1 out of 5 stars terrible quality and sizing; too tight at the neck   October 23, 2008
Navy Mom (San Diego, CA)
I can accept a certain level of cheap construction in Halloween costumes, but this one was particularly bad. The face opening looked like someone had just taken a pair of scissors and cut out a circle--jagged edges, no binding or hemming, nothing. The other pieces (the red/brown/white parts were each separate pieces) looked like they were loosely basted or fastened with Stitch-Witch. The neck opening was way too tight for my 5-month-old's head to fit through, and even after I got the Bad Mom Award for jamming it through anyway, the face opening was so tight it left a red mark under his chin. And he's only 35th percentile for weight, plus ours was advertised for 6-9 month olds (not 3-9). I know it isn't a fluke because my husband and I inadvertently ordered the same product, and each one that showed up was the same poor quality and poor fit. Nice picture and nice idea (who doesn't want a tootsie roll baby?), but lousy quality, even for a Halloween product.

5 out of 5 stars My Tootsie Roll was precious!   August 1, 2008
Just a mom
I guess the tootsie roll is a timeless classic. We purchased this costume for my 4 month old & she won our local costume contest in the category most original. Now, of course it isn't homemade or custom made but it isn't the same thing you see over & over either. To this day, one of my daughter's cutest pictures was in this costume. Oh, & the best part is it covers their whole body & has room to layer warm clothing under or if you have a heat wave move through (like we did), your child can where just a onesie & not sweat to death. Great for indoor costume parties too for that same reason!
