"Stop and go," that's what riding the school bus is all about. That and enjoying the bumpy, "wiggly-wobbly" ride, of course! This cute bus will appeal to every toddler and preschooler who has gazed longingly out the window as the big kids board the big yellow bus, off to exotic destinations unknown. Measuring 12 inches long and half again as wide, the durable plastic bus rolls through town, jostling the passengers with the aforementioned "wiggly-wobbly" action. Push down on driver Carlos and see flashing lights, plus hear the "Stop and Go" song, beeping horns, giggling children, and commentary from the driver ("Everyone sit down…let's go to school!" etc.). The bus includes driver, two passengers, a wheelchair for one of the riders, a swiveling stop sign, a door that opens, and easy access through the roof for children to play with the figures. I love this bus. It lights up, has several sayings and plays music. The people are a good size for toddlers to grasp and play with. It has a stopsign that pulls out, and I used it to explain about the concept of stop. School buses are his most recent obsession, and he totally enjoys this sturdy toy.

This is a great little toy. However, I found it at Toys R US for $18.99. I looked at all the the Little People stuff on amazon and most of it is way overpriced! I used to depend on amazon offering the best prices but it just isn't true anymore.

My one year old son LOVES to play with this toy! He loves pushing it around, listening to the sounds and song, opening and closing the doors and taking out the little people and putting them back in. The only downside is that there's only one cute song that it plays, just like the Lil' Movers Airplane (different version of course), but none the less, it's a fun, sturdy toy.
