This Sandwich-Making Wooden Play Set includes colorful likenesses of meaty cold cuts, garden vegetables and fresh bread. The entire pieces feature Velcro inserts, so keeping sandwich creations together is no problem. A play wooden knife rounds out the collection. The kit comes packaged in a 12" X 10" wooden crate. My 3 grandchildren, ages 2 1/2 to 3 1/2, love this! They take orders for sandwiches, then have a great time making them! The pieces are made from wood, so there is nothing to break.

Kids really enjoy playing with this and it helps to teach them how food is prepared. They really like putting together different combinations of the inside ingredients. I like the wood better than plastic. I babysit my grandchildren and they like to "make meals" for me.

Our 3 year old son loves this sandwich making set!!! It is well made and we will be purchasing several more sets similar to this one by Melissa and Doug!

Good food set, a million times better than the plastic food. I bought this along with the Melissa and Doug Pizza set and so if you only want one set I would go with the pizza set as my girls play with that way more than this but it is well made and the velcro is awesome. Definetly worth it and a great addition to the play kitchen.
