Lights don't last November 26, 2008 Michael A. Caruso I've blown out 6 lights already in the SAME night, there obviously is NO voltage regulator so that is why, im really surprized because usually Bell has a decent quality product, not this time, im NOT happy with it at all.

The instructions were not very clear and I couldn't find any better ones online. The cords are sort of flimsy and I am worried that they will get caught on something eventually.

It works great and is bright enough to I know that other people will have no trouble seeing me on the road.

Vendor shipped good product on time. Worked just as a dynamo generator should, for a reasonable price. I didn't need any extra parts. Important: everything needs to be grounded to metal using the screws and metal brackets. Using plastic brackets that may already exist on your bicycle will not complete the circuit.
Just What You Need May 28, 2008 Winterlights 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
It was hard to find a generator light locally for some reason, but Amazon pointed at the Bell offering. Its perfect. While battery lights have come a long way for bicycles, a good generator light is invaluable because it never runs out. As long as your moving, you can see the road, and if you bike at night, or end up on a long ride that leaves you in the dark, you might just want that. The downside of any generator light is that once you stop pedaling it stops shining, thats why you have your back up battery light. The Bell is solidly constructed, the light itself has a crosshatch of plastic that gives saftey from breakage from flying stones, and the instructions and installation are a snap for anyone. Be safe, wear a helmet, make sure you've got lots of reflectors, wear bright clothes...and get this light.
