5 out of 5 stars nice and bright   October 15, 2008
M. Andrews
I attached this to my helmet for early morning rides to work. It is really bright and the batteries seem to last a long time. The velcro holds it securely in place. Glad I got it.

5 out of 5 stars Bright, blinky, and up high where it can be seen.   October 6, 2008
Casu Marzu (San Francisco)
I live in a big city with lots of cars who arn't looking for me. After a near-miss where I had to throw myself into a controlled fall to avoid being hit by a truck that blew his stop sign and listening to the driver's lame "I didn't see you" excuse, I decided that I NEEDED this light.

As it's helmet-mounted it's up as high as can be and is about eye-level with the drivers behind you. The gimbaled action of the helmet mount keeps the light visable when ascending or decending hills. Also, the motion of the light created when the cyclist is in motion adds to its attention getting properties.

The light has two light patterns: Steady on or a single flash pattern. I wish it had a chasing option, but it doesn't :-(

Overall I love this light and am planning to buy another for my other helmet.

4 out of 5 stars Bright, Easy to Attach   September 25, 2008

I've liked this light very much. The attachment straps worked surprisingly well. The plastic loops which sit atop the bike helmet have a velcro strap fed which adjusts to the size and shape of the helmet mounting slots. Those plastic loops have an opening on their outside edge which I expected would make the mounting flimsy or likely to disconnect. I've been pleasantly surprised that in about 2 weeks of daily commuting to and from work they have not shown any sign of detaching from the bike.

4 out of 5 stars Easily mountable, but stitching is wanting.   September 20, 2008

This light was very easy to mount on both of my helmets and I really have no worry that it's going to come off. I use it in conjunction with another red light on my seatpost (the Superblinky). I've had at least one driver so far stop and tell me at a stop light how much she liked this light, because it made me easier to see.

Easily attaches to helmet. I highly recommend this light for anyone who rides in the dark. This is the 2nd one I have owned and will be purchasing one for my wife.
