The skates were absolutely perfect! My daughter was elated when they arrived. The little skates were beautiful, and she is really enjoying them.

We purchased these skates for our daughter's 9th birthday! They were
a big hit, especially since she was having a Rollerskating B-Day party!
They are good for a beginner skate because the wheels do not go super fast. The boot of the skate is a little stiff but may just need broken in.
They do run true to size. Overall, great skate and good value!

My daughter wanted skates for her b-day, but didn't want the inline skates. I looked for regular skates and couldn't find any that I thought she would like. I hopped online to Amazon.com and couldn't have found a better skate. I surprised my daughter for her 10th b-day and she couldn't have been happier. She has been rollin' around the house and outside with these babies. She's loves the skates and all the kids in the neighborhood(and adults) are asking us where we got them from! Thanks Amazon for carrying these skates along with the free shipping!

5 out of 5 stars Brings back old memories...   January 21, 2008
Mommy Mara (Redding, CA)
Purchasing the Chicago 1900 Girls roller skates bought back wonderful memories of the past roller skating with my sister when I was a little girl. I bought two sets of roller skates for my 5 & 6 year old girls for Christmas and they loved them! They were perfect beginner skates for their ages along with nice quality. I highly recommend them! I'm even considering getting a pair for myself!

My 6 y.o loves these roller skates. Skates around the house almost all the time. Boot is supportive, but not stiff. Feels like real leather. True to size. She wears a 13 in all her shoes. Tried Roller Derby, will stick with Chicago Girl.
