Just ok... July 9, 2008 Tammy L. Wood (AZ) As others have mentioned the stickers were peeling off, the paint on the bottom was cracking and the "hardware" was missing rendering the odd screws(?) and nuts useless. We managed to find some screws around the house though and get it put together (after an hour of frustration). It's definitely cheaply made but our 4 year old is having a great time on it for now, we'll see how long it takes to fall apart. Adding in... it's now been 20 minutes of playtime and he handle bar has loosed so badly that I am taking it away. Guess I'll spend a little more next time for a quality product.
Not very durable January 3, 2008 P. Scott Turner (West Jordan, UT uSA) We gave this to our 4yr old for Christmas. She loves it, but the plastic clasps for the Dora 'shield' have already broken, and the finish is starting to break and peel off of one side of the board. But, like I said, she loves it and doesn't seem to care about the cosmetic flaws.
Re-assemble everything yourself May 2, 2007 Rachel T. Schmid (CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Even though it is mostly assembled for you, I recommend re-tightening everything. It was really wobbly before we did this and harder to control. I'll admit the materials are cheap, the stickers came falling off and on the wrong side, but for the money it's an inexpensive toy that keeps them entertained. 5 year old and 2 year old never noticed the imperfections, loved it and played with it non-stop.
Cute but not durable April 28, 2007 R. Johnson (NC, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
When I received the scooters for my 2 daughters, we were excited. BUT It took my hsuband about 30 minutes to get the things together securely. He had to add some hardware of his own cause the stuff that came with it was not tightening properly. Then as he was working on one I was taking the other out of its box and saw the bottom and sides already cracked slightly, but could not send back cause daughter had already seen it. Most of the stickers fell off the bar while putting it on the scooter. Although my daughters have played on them daily, my 6 year old is already requesting a new one that doesn't tilt as much. Although they are cute, I will not purchase anymore toys here, it was a waste of money. They will be broken by next week.
Ok product for the price April 11, 2007 P. Chung (California) Got this for my 4 year old niece's birthday, she is really into Dora so she was happy with it. The skootskate is simple to put together, but not necessary the most durable materials. Then again, you get what you pay for. I got this on the Friday sale for ten bucks, along with some books so that there is no shipping charge. My niece is happy, so can't complain much about that.
