Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
This value pack from Disney is an all-in-one bike safety kit, including a pretty pink helmet and matching knee and elbow pads, all adorned with everyone's favorite princesses, Cinderella, Snow White, and Belle from Beauty and the Beast. The hardshell helmet is made of tough ABS plastic and lined with EPS foam padding designed to hug the head and absorb impact should she take a fall. The helmet also features a built-in visor to protect young eyes and several large air vents to prevent overheating in warmer weather. The knee and elbow pads are made of soft, comfortable nylon and have hard- plastic shells on the outside to guard against bumps and scrapes. The pads secure in back of knees or elbows with two Velcro tabs. The bicycle helmet is approved the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission's standards for riders ages 5 and older.

Product Description
Keep little riders safe with the help of their favorite characters! Stylized hardshell helmet and elbow/knee pads are a great safety measure for riding bikes, in-line skating and other outdoor activities. Complies with U.S. CPSC Safety Standards.

4 out of 5 stars safety style   January 19, 2007

My kids love the pack. I bought two and my daughters both think they are very stylish so they are much more likely to wear them. They were easy to fit and they are easy to clean. I wish that the velcro straps on the knee pads were a little wider so that they didn't slide down as easily. Other than that.... fabulous

2 out of 5 stars Helmet for who? A doll?   December 27, 2006

I bought this for my daughter who is almost 4 and there is no way this is for an average sized toddler. This is not a snug fit at all. Very cheap. I am returning mine soon and going with something that will protect her brains if she falls off her skates or bike.

1 out of 5 stars This product is really poor quality- don't waste your money!   September 27, 2006

I owned this product and ended up throwing it in the trash.
My daughter wanted it because it had the princesses on it, but let's face it; the manufacturer could sell any piece of junk as long as it has a cute character on it. This has got to be the cheapest helmet and pad set I have ever seen. The pink plastic covering on the outside of the helmet actually peeled away from the styrofoam core, and like the other reviewer stated, the straps are all but impossible to adjust and use properly. I find it disturbing that a company like Disney would put their stamp of approval on such a cheap, poorly made product. And scarier still, this is a product that is supposed to provide our children a measure of protection when they are riding their bikes or other similar activities. Please, don't buy this. You will be better off spending a bit more money on a good quality helemt and pad set. It might not be as cutesy as the princess one, but your child will be safer.

1 out of 5 stars Imposible to assemble   May 16, 2005

The helmet comes with minimal, but useless instructions on how to properly setup the straps and the manufacturer even warns that you should follow the instructions carefully.
