Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.com Product Description
A great package for BMX biking, skateboarding, inline skating, or any other sport that requires protective headgear, this Razor Skater Multi-Sport combo set includes a helmet, two knee pads, and two elbow pads. The 17 vents keep your head cool at all times and the side release buckles make it a breeze to adjust and fasten your chin strap.

Whatever your sport, this rugged Razor helmet and pad set will keep you confidently protected.
The ergonomically designed padding provides the perfect individual fit to guarantee comfort; it also comes with an additional sizing pad. The helmet complies with US Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) safety standard.

The knee and elbow pads feature foam cushioning to absorb impact, hard ABS plastic caps for maximum protection from spills, moisture wicking interior, and hook and loop fastened straps to keep pads securely in place. Use only mild soap and water to clean the helmet, straps, and pads.

Fitting a Helmet
Always wear a helmet low in the front to protect the forehead. The front and rear straps should join at a point slightly below and in front of the ears. Always wear the helmet with the chin strap buckle fastened and the strap pulled tight. Make sure the strap is well back against the throat, not on the point of the chin. Straps worn in the point of the chin increase the chance of the helmet coming off in an accident.

Customer Reviews:

2 out of 5 stars Buy pads separately!   September 5, 2008
r8der dad (Santa Rosa, CA)
The pads that come in this combo are pretty much worthless. The velcro closure is rather small making adjustments limited. Thus they slip and slide a lot. One of the pads ripped from its rivet on the first day with no abuse. The first time my son fell the strap for one of the pad nearly ripped all the way through. These pads might provide protection if you fall over while standing still, but I would recommend getting some thing more durable if you really want to protect your kid. I would have given a one star rating but the helmet is pretty good.

These are very cheap. I bought them for my 5 years son and they were ripped at the straps within 2 days.

3 out of 5 stars Not as tough as the kids.   January 14, 2008

Received 2 of thses sets for children for Christmas and the knee pads are no longer usable.

2 out of 5 stars Knee pads came apart   July 6, 2007

The helmet is great...but buy it separately. The knee pads are junk. The hard shields came apart from the underpadding at the faux snaps after my son wore them a couple of times. They can't be fixed either wasting our money.

4 out of 5 stars my son likes them very much   February 15, 2007

they are sporty looking and comes with a replacable pad for the forehead if that one becomes too smelly from sweat. The knee and elbow pads fit well and they are a bit cumbersome, but that's just part of using safety gear. I would buy again.
