Looks great, fun to put together! January 15, 2008 Holly Mills (Cookeville, TN USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I know others have claimed these decks break easily, and that may be true. But if you have a 7 or 8 year-old who isn't jumping yet but is just learning, this is a great buy. Our son is just learning balance and steering, and so far these have really held up well for him. They look nice, and he had some "extra" fun helping his Dad put the trucks and wheels on. So, if you want to jump and do tricks, listen to the others who've had bad luck. If you just have a kid who wants to learn how to ride and put a board together, it's great!
Great set for the price. August 6, 2007 R. R. Trevino (Beaverton OR) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
The decks are nice, the bearings need grease, the decals provided leave a little to be desired. They're great for starter to nivice skaters. The first thing to break is usually the deck, with this you get two.
Great product! May 12, 2007 J. Nourse (Syracuse, NY) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this for my brother for Christmas and he LOVES it! He is an avid skateboarder and absolutely loves building things and putting things together. He's proud of his skateboard because he built it, which helps him keep it clean and take care of it. This is an amazing toy for anyone who enjoys skating or building things!
happy kid at christmas January 15, 2007 Peggie Trampel (small town IL) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
the build a board arrived in time for christmas and in great shape, my nephew was very excited about this gift and the price was very reasonable. I will be shopping amazon more often instead of draggin my children to the stores for future christmas gifts, birthday gifts ect. thanks for making shopping easy and for the feeling of safety in my purchase.
Both decks badly warped!! November 13, 2006 C. Cush 7 out of 9 found this review helpful
Wheels don't lie flush with the ground due to warp. bearings popped their protective shield within an hour. Looked like it had been returned once as well. STAY AWAY!!
