The high-performance, electric powered Razor MX650 Dirt Rocket is ideal for teens (ages 16 and up) who want to enjoy an authentic dirt bike experience without breaking the bank. The Dirt Rocket's powerful motor carries riders at speeds of up to 17 miles per hour--more than enough for most bumpy dirt trails--and can cruise for up to 10 miles (or 40 minutes) on a single charge. At the same time, the bike's dual suspension and riser handlebars deliver a smooth and comfortable ride regardless of the terrain, so the fun isn't restricted to flat pavement. As a final bonus, the Dirt Rocket's variable-speed, chain-driven motor is extremely quiet, a marked contrast to traditional gas-powered motocross bikes.

5 out of 5 stars Razor bike is awesome   August 28, 2008
Shawna L. Thornton (Lake Havasu City AZ)
Bought this Razor to replace a smaller one that was puchased two years prior. The smaller one outlasted my son's constant riding and jumping.
Very pleased with the new arrival. It's fast, quiet, and is certainly standing up to the beating it's taking!

5 out of 5 stars Nice   August 9, 2008

This is a nice little bike with pleanty of power. My 11 year old loves it. We ran the smaller "Blue" Razor dirt bike for years and up graded to this. Im very happy with my purchase and Amazon.com has always been 100% perfect with my online purchase.

This is our second Razor MX650 Dirt Bike and our boys love them. Gas dirt bikes are illegal in our area - but these electronic bikes are legal and they're great. We stress safety in our house - I hope all parents do the same.

4 out of 5 stars Great Bike!   July 22, 2008
mapper (Santa Maria, CA)
I've purchased all three Razor MX bikes 350, 500 and 650 My son loved/s all of them. They are prone to break downs. My son is a husky boy and created his own dirt bike jumps that may cause some of the damage. My tip is to keep your receipts because RAZOR does have great customer service and will replace parts or you can purchase and replace parts. My son is nine and can handle the 650 and was riding the 350 when he was six years old. You will need to determine if you child is ready since the age requirements are higher. We also have a safe place for him to ride and I recently rode the Razor 650 for the first time and now understand why he loves it. It really is a fun starter bike for any kid who loves adventure. Highly recommend all the the MX bikes as affordable starter/training bikes but keep the receipts.

5 out of 5 stars Best purchase I've made this year!!!!!!!!!!!!   June 19, 2008
Robyn (Illinois)
I bought this for my son's 13th birthday and he rides it everyday.
Already a neighbor bought the same bike and now my daughter is saving her money for one of her own. I'll bet by the end of the summer, all the kids on our block will have one. The price was great, the product is built tough and it appears the fun never ends!
