Frequently Asked Questions - Can it go up hills or off road? The Minimoto is not intended to run on tall grass or loose gravel or sand. If the surface is hard, then the bike should be able to manage. As to hills, the Minimoto should be able to go up a rather steep 8% grade with a normal rider.
- Can I wash my Minimoto? You must remember that the Minimoto is an electric vehicle and therefore is very sensitive to water. It is possible to clean the vehicle but you must take special care not to get any electrical parts wet.

Great Little Motorcycle September 26, 2007 Cathy (Poughkeepsie, NY) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased the minimoto 400 for my 10 year old son. I chose the 400 because it has the most power out of all the battery powered mini motorcycles. It is constructed very well, looks like a real street bike only mini. My son loves it, works really well on the driveway, and works pretty well on the grass but its a bumpy ride and the seat does not have much cushioning. The charge lasts as long as advertised. would recommend this bike. My 23 year old son and 19 year old daughter also ride it, the speed is less and there size makes it a little awkward to ride it, but they have fun on it too.
Very nice looking bike. HORRIBLE post sales support. July 9, 2007 Hopeless Romantic (San Francisco, CA) 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
After some in depth searching, I finally came across the "official" website for the MiniMoto Maxii 400 bike. It was not easy to find! Here is the link: http://www.toyquest.com/minimoto1/maxii/index.html The website looks pretty informative, with a listed 1-800 phone number and even a customer support email. Don't let that deceive you. Below is my story: I purchased the MiniMoto Maxii 400 bike about a week ago through Amazon (June 29th to be exact) and it arrived today (July 9th). The box was shipped in it's original retail box through UPS and as a result showed the typical wear/tear on the outside. Opening up the box, I was really amazed at how big the bike was as compared to a Razor Pocket bike. The first thing I did after separating the bike from all the styrofoam packaging was hook the bike up to an outlet so it'll begin the recommended 12+ hour initial charge. As it was charging, I decided to call the 1-800 number to register my bike and get some information as to where I'll be able to buy various accessories for the bike (bike cover, lock, helmet..etc..) Sadly, I was not able to get ahold of anyone. When I called the number, I received a never ending BUSY signal!! I thought to myself, how many 1-800 number have I called in the past that had a busy signal on the other end? NONE!! I waited a few hours and tried againg, only to get the same BUSY signal. Since I was not getting anywhere with the 1-800 number, I decided to email the customer support email address. Within seconds, I received an automatic email thanking me for contacting them and informing me that a rep will reply to my email shortly. Within 15 minutes, I received a response from their customer support informing me that I should look at Amazon to purchase my MiniMoto accessories. I searched on Amazon but was not able to find anything and so I replied back asking for some other recommendations. I did not get a reply back. To me, more than 50% of a customer's satisfaction after purchasing any high value (over $200) product would be the post-sale support. This bike's manufacturer DOES NOT HAVE ANY!! If you are deciding to get this bike, I highly recommending saving your money and getting something else. It's unbelievable how a company can survive without providing any customer service whatsoever!!!?????
What a Ride! June 7, 2007 Brian S. Mccown (Oakman, Alabama) A great minibike. The Mini Moto was a gift for my son. He and his friends have almost worn the tires out. The only issue we had with this purchase was that it arrived with a malfunctioning battery. After a few phone calls to the manufacturer, they happily shipped a new battery and we were off and running. Overall this is one of the best purchases we have made for our son. Now if left witht he choice of video games or going out to ride -- he chooses outdoors!
Run time is Poor! January 26, 2007 Anna'z Stuff (Orland Park, IL USA) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
This item never holds it's charge and has really been a huge disappointment for our pocketbook. Our son would charge it, ride it out of the garage and down our driveway, and before he arrived at the driveway directly next door, it would lose its charge and have to be walked back... A real bummer for the kids each and every time. Anna Maria, Orland Park, IL
Great Product Poor Customer Service September 26, 2006 Kathleen Teixeira 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this bike for my 12 year old son on Xmas of 2005. Seems to work awesome. Almost nothing to put together, my kind of present!!! HOWEVER a part broke on the handlebar (his fault) and I am trying like heck to contact the manufacturer to find out where to get this fixed and THERE IS NO KNOWN PHONE # FOR THEM!!!!!!!! Amazon doesn't even have the # , they have an email (and we all know how that goes)...so I emailed and crossed my fingers.....waiting to hear!!!!! JUST FYI
