1 out of 5 stars Tony Hawk Full Suspension Bike is Not Worth Your Time   August 30, 2008

The Tony Hawk kids full suspension mtn bike is not good. Too heavy, steel, cheap parts and not worth your money. Your child will suffer. Imagine, as an adult if you had to ride a bike that weighed the same as you do.

3 out of 5 stars Good Bike but not worth for money   August 16, 2008

I have been using this bike for almost a month. What I found is the bike quality is poor because it is yet another product from China. Bike is made up of fragile building materials. One thing I am worried about is, some of the moving parts are made up of plastic(rear gear wheels and wheel rims). I strongly believe those plastic wheels could break if more pressure is given; especially, when climbing up the steep hills. Yet another issue I face is with the brake system. The break does not align properly, and it constantly rubs against the wheel rims and causes friction on the wheels. I tried all my expertise and even called Customer support and was not of any help. I think to solve this issue I may have to take my bike to a bike repair shop. Another flaw with the design of the bike is we can not attach a water bottle holder on to the frame because there is no space between the frame and the only option is to attach the bottle to the handle. I had to call customer service three or four times during installation, and even brought these issues before the customer support and told them I would post an honest review.

Only good things about the Tony Hawk's bike are their Customer support, especially (John) is out standing. The assembly was also very easy and customer support were also quick to respond to the complaint, and sends replacement parts fast free of cost; Even though, most replacement are on back order. Another good thing about this company is it gives warranty for two years.

My recommendation is this bike is better than Wal Mart, Target, and K-mart bikes. I would suggest the buyers to go through other reviews before buying any bike. I believe the price of this bike is neither a good deal nor a bad deal for the price.
