We bought this bike for our daughter as a christmas present. It is always tough to buy something like this without seeing it in person. We went ahead after reading the description and because the price was comparible to those sold in stores. To our surprise, it is an extremely well made bike, not like the Target or Walmart types. this is sturdy, solid and rides like a dream. I have personally tested it out too. You won't be sorry if you choose this bike!

We got this bike for our daughter for Christmas. She turns 9 next week and had clearly outgrown her bike with the 18" wheels. It was easy to assemble and the quality is really great! We couldn't be happier with the bike or the assembly of it. And the style really fits a girl her age.
Good Bike for the Money December 25, 2007

We bought the boy's and girl's bikes for our kids for Christmas, and we are very happy with the bikes. We were looking for an inexpensive mountain bike (< $100 each) for our kids to learn to use hand brakes and gears. We got the pair for just over $150.
They required many adjustments on the brakes and gears to make the bikes work properly, but fortunately, I am good friends with a bike mechanic. Also, both inner tubes on one of the bikes had small holes in them - one was found Christmas morning. :(
Overall, I would definitely recommend these bikes. They are much better than the "Walmart Special" for about the same price.

I ordered this bike for my small 55 lb 9 yr old,she loves it.I used the free shipping and it arrived in perfect condition and only took me 15 minutes to put it together.rides great, gears are slightly stiff but I think they will loosen up.I strongly recomend it
 Poorly Made and Heavy! September 8, 2007

This bike is very poorly made; wheels are not true and breaks don't line up so it is always rubbing and there are no adjustments to make them work better. It is also heavier than a Harley for some reason, feels like they filled the metal tubes with mercury. I had to send it back after we decided that it wasn't safe to put a kid on it.
