Product Description This durable riding toy grows with your child and will keep him wheelin' for years. The Twist Trike is a two-in-one toy that twists from a trike to a chopper in a few easy seconds. Kids can pedal around on the trike for the recommended age range of two to four years old. When they grow out of it, parents can use the patented quick-release twist 'n lock mechanism to transform the trike into a chopper. Designed for ages four to seven, the chopper sits lower on the ground with a single tire in front and two in back. When in chopper mode, the seat adjusts, so it grows with your child. Both styles feature a durable molded construction and a controlled turning radius for stability. The body measures 31.5" x 23" x 34". Holds up to 65 pounds.

"Not Your Average Big Wheel" October 12, 2008 J. Umano (Weymouth MA) We just purchased this trike for our son's 4th birthday after we saw the twin boys down the street riding them. What's nice is that it's easy to peddle, it's smooth-riding, and it's not loud. My son really flies on it, which he loves. It took my husband about an hour to assemble, but for someone really handy, half that time. It also turns into a tricycle when you turn it over. Great-looking trike and nicely constructed. Very happy with our purchase.
Not the best choice for toddlers. Ages 4+ February 27, 2008 Mrs. Britton (Rochester, NY) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My son received this bike for his second birthday from my inlaws. He is taller than most 3 year olds and is off the chart for height for his age because he is so tall. The claims are this bike can be used for ages 2 and up, simply not true. It should be ages 4 and up. His feet barely (only his tip toes) reach the petals on the trike which is NOT adjustable (only the chopper setting is). I am very disappointed as he was so excited to have his first bike and he cannot ride it. The quality seems OK. For the price I would recommend a different bike because I really don't see this bike lasting 5 years. The stickers are already loose and it is brand new. The tires are the cheap hard plastic which I hate on any wheeled product since it cracks and doesn't last. I expect better from Radio Flyer.
radio flyer twist February 24, 2008 L. Raccomandato 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We bought 2 of them. I have a 2 year old and a 3 year old and they have been having a blast with them. They are just about hitting the pedals but by the Spring, I'm sure they'll be fine. We leave it in the tricycle postion for my 2 year old and the big wheel for my 3 year old. I like the option of them having the same toy or different. It's like 2 for 1. I have a feeling we'll get lots of use of them. It was very easy for my husband to assemble, about 15 minutes to do both of them.
RADIO FLYER TWIST TRIKE HAPPY CUSTOMER January 5, 2008 J. Boucher (Nova Scotia, Canada) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We just purchased the Twist Trike for our 2.9 year-old son. It was very easy to put together with clear instructions. It is rugged and fun looking; to early to say if it is durable. In my opinion, it is built for a taller child, closer to 3 in age rather than 2. Our son is tall--95% percentile. His inseam measures 16.5 inches from groin to bottem of foot. His feet barely reach the pedals; toes barely touch floor when sitting on seat; toes are flat when he hovers above crossbar and pushes trike 'Fred Flintstone' style. We are not worried--he will grow into it. Our son just loves his new trike. Despite the height of the trike he gets around just fine. It has great manoeuverability. I don't think you will be disappointed with this purchase--and I don't work for the company!!! :)
Nice trike January 2, 2008 Heike Kovacs (Salinas CA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Its a very nice trike. From the picture I thought it would be a small trike , but when it was bild it was actually pretty big. It's a little to big for a 22 month old , since he cannot yet reach the pedals. But that wont be long until he is racing it around . Very sturdy too he is gonna have fun with it for a couple years =) I think I buy it for my son too, for his second Birthday.
