  • New technology offers a flexible goose neck, creating a superior carving action leading to self propulsion and the double wheels provide stability and increased carving action, similar to the natural motion of a "fluid surfing or snowboarding carve".

5 out of 5 stars Best present of the year!   January 8, 2009
sarahs_eden (FL)
I bought this for my husband for Christmas and he loves it! He said it's difficult to ride on the street (too bumpy) but great on the sidewalk. He's even been riding it around the tile in the house (setting a great example!) - it makes really sharp turns. I guess having four inline wheels is what sets it apart from some of the other carve boards. My husband said it's really fun, a great core workout and really gets his heart rate up. We highly recommend it!

I am a relatively non-athletic mom - but I like to stay in shape. I've never skateboarded, snowboarded or surfed, but I was able to master the Whiptide with a little practice. It is great exercise and is a lot of fun!! It is much easier than the Ripstick - and you can do more with it due to its flexible neck. I use it to walk my dog - which allows her to run next to me. I love this product!

I bought this for my son's 9th birthday. All of his friends have a ripstik and he wanted something a little different. After looking at everything out their I decided to purchase the whiptide. I am so glad I did. This thing is faster, smoother, more manuverable, and the envy of his friends compared to the ripstik. My son and his friends have used this everyday since his birthday in September and it still rolls and moves like it is brand new. It is a Great Product. I would highly recommend the whiptide prior to buying anything else.

A great board, plus it was cheaper to buy it from Amazon, then it was from their web site.
