Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Sing away while the animals play! Through rhythm, rhyme and sing-along songs, little ones can rock out and sharpen learning skills like counting, numbers and animal sound recognition. Younger learners can play with the guitar on the floor, pressing the fret buttons and turning the knob in the center. Older tots can engage in true rock-star style, holding the guitar while it plays. Three fun learning modes can be used in both English and Spanish. In Number Mode, whimsical songs introduce counting. Animal Mode helps kids make the connection between animals and their sounds. And Music Play Mode encourages tuneful freeplay as kids jig along to a lively rendition of "Old MacDonald" while activating a chorus of wacky animal sounds. Requires 3 "AA" batteries, included. Measures 13.5" x 6.5".

4 out of 5 stars Cute toy!   November 16, 2008
S. Baig (Raleigh, NC)
My 18 mo. son liked this toy very much, he is now 25 mos. and he has outgrown it, he still plays with it sometimes. It entertains him for 5 minutes at a time. The colors and music are fun, the woman's voice gets annoying after some time but then again, the toy is not for me. It's been through war and still works great. It has numbers, letters and songs to choose from and the spanish feature has taught my 5 year old some spanish.

I intended to buy this guitar for my 6 month old baby, but it turns out that her 6 year old sister also loves it. The big sister often plays the guitar and the younger one laughes and kicks her feet to rymth with the music.

This is a fun toy for about a ten month + age child. The good thing about it is that it is portable. The child I purchased this for had a little piano that isn't portable. He likes this just about as well. It has a stret button, and a lever that plays fill in background chords. He likes the music part the best, but it also has an animal sounds mode, and Spanish. It would be better if it had more variations on the songs. Or more songs.

3 out of 5 stars Five minutes of fun   August 14, 2008

My 13 month-old son played with this toy for about 5 minutes before walking away. He hasn't been interested in it at all despite my trying to engage him with it. It doesn't seem to have enough challenge to keep him interested.

5 out of 5 stars My niece loved it!   August 4, 2008

A great gift for my now 3 year-old niece. Now she can play along when her parents play Guitar Hero :)
