Radio Flyer spring Rocking Horse October 31, 2008 Grandma (Florida) This is a Radio Flyer spring rocking horse. It is extremely well made and should be around for quite a while. Be aware, however, that it involves A LOT of assembly. If you're not assembly-inclined, do yourself a favor and get someone else to do the job. In my case, though it came with instructions, the instructions implied that I actually knew what they were talking about. The good news is, my son had no problem putting it together. This is the kind of toy we all grew up with, and is refreshing in its' simplicity. With just a little imagination, my grandson will be is racing the wind! Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas, little one!
BEWARE: New (low quality) version of the model with sound (301) June 24, 2008 Mommy2twins 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I ordered this horse from different online store and was disappointed to receive a horse that lacked many of the advertised features. It had a hard plastic saddle instead of authentic padded leather-like one, only one position stirrups instead of three, did not have integrated steps for easier mounting or stabilization cones on the base. I called Radio Flyer and was told that they changed this model and the one I received was the new version. On my question why they changed it to a lower quality product they said it was the company decision. I ended up returning it and found the good one. I would like to warn all of you reading these glowing reviews that most of the reviewers have the older version with many nice features. If these features are important to you, please make sure you are getting the right version and spare yourself from disappointment and hassle of returning it. It is a shame that such a good company like Radio Flyer would do something like that.
FANTASTIC Horse But Beware, it's HUGE! June 16, 2008 ThreePeas (Orange County, CA) My son received this as a gift off of his wishlist when he turned 3, he's now almost 4 1/2 and he still rides spaghetti (as he's named him) almost every day. Yes, I'm thrilled he's using one of his toys instead of it just sitting in the corner and he really loves it but let me tell you this horse has been a kink in my neck ever since he got it. It is so tremendous the only place it would fit was our living room which does not thrill me. The sound effects are fantastic, not annoying at all and it is incredibly well made I just did not realize how huge it was, my mistake. If you have a very large house, I highly recommend it, the Liberty Spring Horse w/Sound is a wonderful toy that will last for many years (oh no...what am I going to do? years it's going to be stuck in my living room? Uy Yuy Yuy....) :o)
WE LOVE LIBERTY! March 10, 2008 Jimmy Flete (Bronx NY) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My daughter has had liberty for over a year now and we are in love with it! It has never gotten old. As your child grows they will find more ways to have fun with Liberty. I highly recommend it, and you will not be disappointed. AT first my daughter started out with us putting her on and she would gently rock, now she climbs on by herself and goes wild. Definetly great for taking pictures!
Spring Horse January 24, 2008 S. Boehm (Michigan) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased this spring horse for my granddaughters 2nd birthday. I had already given her the Radio Flyer pony, and she loved that. She adores the new horse, and had no difficulty mounting it, or riding (bouncing) on it. It is beautifully made, with safety obviously a concern. She loves the sounds ( and my daughter loves that she can turn them on or off) and riding "Bucky" is now her favorite pasttime, from an early morning 'ride' to hugging him goodnight in the evening. Great product.
