Editorial Review When it's time to go outside for a bit of fresh air and exercise, the Push Around Buggy from Step2 is ready to roll. Just slip baby in the generous molded seat, hook up the seat belt, grab the handle, and go! While you actually steer, baby can pretend to drive (and can even start the fun with a nifty ignition key). When there's an obstacle in the way or a friend passing by, baby can honk the horn. The buggy rolls smoothly and surely on four oversize poly wheels. A small trunk in the front can hold a few travel items. Both durable and fun, this sweet red and blue Push Around Buggy is a winner. The extra-long handle is removable and can be stored underneath the buggy. --N. Mered
Product Description Perfect for walks around the neighborhood or park, the Push Around Buggy is a colorful, comfortable ride-on for your little one. Parents control this cute coupe with a sturdy handle that can be removed and conveniently stored underneath the buggy. Beginner drivers "start" this buggy with a pretend click-start ignition key. Store additional supplies or goodies in a special compartment under the front hood. Includes a seat belt for extra security and a steering wheel with honking horn. Measures approximately 43.5" x 18.5" x 34.5". Minimal adult assembly required.

Fun for your little guy or gal! September 25, 2008 Rebecca Mckenzie (Central Coast, CA) We got this for my son for walks around the neighborhood as a change from his stroller. He really likes riding in it and "steering" the car. The hood is great for taking snacks/toys with us and it is very sturdy. As other reviewers have mentioned though, it is very loud on the pavement. Not really a problem during the day, but it has ruled out our night walks. The decals and everything look brand new and we have had this for over a year now. The handle seems a little flimsy, but definetly does the job. We thought we were going to be able to take the handle off and he would be able to push himself around when he got bigger, but the siderails keep him from touching the ground (this is a good thing when going for a walk, but bad for him using it on it's own.) Great deal for the price, but you may also want to consider the the Little Tykes cozy convertible is you are looking for something they can use on their own (The floorboards are removable.) Hope this helps!
Makes outside time good for parents too. September 7, 2008 Busy Mom (Boston) I bought this for my 1 year old son who is trying to keep up with his siblings. The game of follow the baby gets a little old for after an hour, so I thought if I keep him content and control where he goes, it might help. Now, I can push him where he points, he can get to that spot faster and without several falls. A nice addition to outside playtime when the baby's legs get tired and the parent's back has had enough.
My daughter loves this buggy! September 4, 2008 L. Heneks (Irvine, CA United States) The title really says it all. She really loves it. She asks to go for rides several times every day. If you are looking for something to take your children for walks in, or as an alternative to a stroller (she likes being pushed around in it when we go to the grocery store), this thing is great. It is also very easy to put together, and seems quite durable so far. The handle is easy to take off, which makes it easier to take with you in the car. Couldn't be happier with it.
The Best Toy for Infants and Toddlers!! July 21, 2008 Happy Mom This is absolutely by far, the BEST toy we have ever purchased for my son!! We purchased it for his second Christmas when he was 14 months old. He is now 21 months and loves it as much as when he first recieved it! He can't get enough of riding around in it. His 28 month old cousin has one and loves his as well. It is a bright and cheerful buggy with a key, horn and little yellow trunk in the front for my son's favorite toys and my keys and cell phone when we take our daily neighborhood walk. I have just recently taken my stroller out of the trunk and have started taking this buggy with us to stores, park, etc. We live in Texas and during the day it is just too hot to go for a walk, so we bring this indoors for fun rides inside the house. This car comes with us wherever we go. I cannot recommend this enough. My 21 month old son enjoys it thorougly and since he is small for his age, I know we will get at least another three years of use out of it. It has smooth riding tires, that can get a little bumpy on worn streets and rocky areas. When my son was younger, I only took outdoors on the sidewalk because it can be pretty loud on the street. Now that he is older, I do not worry so much about the loudness/bumpy factor. The horn and clicking key are difficult for a little one. He just recently learned how to honk the horn since it takes some arm strength to get it beeping. It is fun to watch him honk his horn when we are out and about. I now have a newborn niece whom I am planning on buying the pink push around buggy for on her first birthday. This is just a great toy! NOTE: Our push around buggy did not come with the clicking key originally. It instead came with a boring sticker with a picture of a key on it. We contacted Step 2 and asked if we could order a yellow key for it since all of the older model buggies have them. They promptly sent one out to us and didn't even charge us for it! My husband used a large drill bit and an electric screw driver to put the key onto the buggy. It works perfectly!
Safe and fun ride for baby! June 27, 2008 Lori B. (San Diego, CA USA) We just bought this buggy as a gift for our son's 8 month birthday. He loves it! He didn't want to get out once we put him in. We pushed him around for more than an hour before he was willing to get out (and once we did get him out, he crawled right back and wanted to spin the wheels!) I love this buggy because it seems safer than the other push vehicles I've seen because it has a seatbelt. My son likes to turn around really quickly so I was worried that he might fall out of a buggy without a seatbelt. This buggy keeps him safely contained, seems durable, and is easy to push standing up for both my husband and myself (he is 5'9" and I am 5'0"). Sure, it is a little loud on concrete, but it's totally worth it hearing your baby squealing and giggling when he rides in the buggy. Five stars all the way for this product!
