Product Description
This super-sized set enables kids to cut their food just like mom or dad. It's perfect for encouraging hand-eye coordination. This set includes more than 25 pieces, including a child-safe knife and cutting board, along with eight healthy choice selections for kids to prepare their own meals. Knives glide easily through each item, making a realistic crunching sound that kids love. Once cut apart, kids will enjoy reattaching the disassembled pieces and starting all over. A handy wooden crate is included for easy storage.

5 out of 5 stars Great set for any child!   November 19, 2008
Lisa Scher (Chicago)
My son started showing interest in cooking in April. So I purchased this set and the food groups set for him. He loves to "cook" all kinds of stuff on his grill! It's really fun to teach him the proper way to cut and dice without using any real food or knives! And the velcro on the pieces makes it really easy to cut, and they are all still on the products! And I love the crates the food comes in! Makes a nice presentation even when the toys are not being used.

5 out of 5 stars Great addition to any play kitchen   November 18, 2008
M. Johnson (Mpls, MN)
This quality toy is hours of fun for any child with an imagination. All the foods makes a great crinkle/cutting noise when you cut them with the wood knife. This literally kept a boy I was watching busy the whole day.

5 out of 5 stars WELL MADE   November 10, 2008

5 out of 5 stars Great Overall!!!   November 10, 2008
Kristyn Geiser (Louisville, KY)
I recently bought this for my nephew who is two and he loves it. I loved it because it wasn't made from stupid plastic. The wood makes it last and durable...so when he growes out of it someone else can play with it. And he loves to play pretend with food.

5 out of 5 stars Lots of fun for your little gourmet!   October 27, 2008
Ainsley's Mommy (Ohio)
We purchased this item for our then 20-month-old daughter to go along with her KidKraft Large Kitchen and, although I thought it was super cute, it was largely ignored for months. Now, at 2 1/2, my daughter loves this toy and plays with it frequently. It is a great toy to keep her occupied while mommy makes dinner, and it encourages an interest in veggies (an area in which my daughter needs all the encouragement she can get!) Overall a terrific toy, but probably a bit advanced for most 2 year olds, so you may want to pay attention to the "age 3 and up" label on this one.
