Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Uglydog likes to help. He helps Jeero operate the rope tow and helps Ox help himself to different types mof snack food. Uglydog is the ultimate pet too. He won't fetch the paper for you, but he'll make your day feel like a front page story| Uglydog doesn't really like to sit or fetch or roll over and all that stuff. What he really likes to do is stand on his tail and live out his big dream...to be just like you.

2 out of 5 stars Cute, but...   December 18, 2007

I hadn't seen the UglyDog in person, but ordered it anyway. The pink is not the same shade as the online photo. I really don't like the color of it- it's like an 80s magenta mix, with a little purple and burgundy. I wish I would have bought a different one, but it's still cute.

5 out of 5 stars Don't need to get it....they LOVE IT.   November 26, 2007

My daughter is 1 1/2. I have no explanation for the love that she has for this thing. It is all about the binky and her pink Ugli. She calls out his name if she can't find him ......."UUUUUUUUgggi". He goes everywhere. And since he goes everywhere, the two other small children at daycare have now collected there own Ugli's. She has two and for whatever reason she loves UUUUUUUgggi. So now I am purchasing another because we fear the loss of the first one (who is starting to show wear from washing and ear sucking) will disappear and there would be fatal cries of loss.

4 out of 5 stars A doll only an adopting child could love.   July 20, 2007

Frankly, I don't get it, but there it is. My 11-year old daughter LOVES her pink, Uglydog (named "Spike"). She sleeps with it, is mindful of it when "including" her favorites on activities, sleepovers, etc. I admit, the Uglydog is very durable and well-made. Like so many other simple things, it has captured the attention of my kid and her friends, and is the new phenom in the pre-teen crowd.
