Product Description More movie clips and more magic! Scene It? Deluxe Harry Potter 2nd Edition is now loaded with new movie clips, trivia questions, and puzzlers from the first four Harry Potter movies, including previously unavailable footage from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Amazon.com Product Description The popular board game that has players watching video clips and shouting out answers is now available in an upgraded Harry Potter theme. This second edition of Screenlife's Scene It? Harry Potter game is chock full of questions, characters, and clips from the first five Harry Potter movies. Yes, that includes the recently released Order of the Phoenix. Pop the game's DVD into your player to start the magic and mayhem. Loaded with new clips and puzzles, this version touches on "The Boy Who Lived" to "He Who Must Not Be Named" and all things in between. There are over 1,000 questions on the 160 trivia cards, so even if you see the same snippet from the 180 on the DVD during the same game, the question about that scene will be different. Special technology randomizes the order of the clips to ensure fresh fun each time the game is played. The themed, interactive game board can be spread out for longer games, or folded when you don't have a lot of time (or players). To help you move around the board there are four metal player tokens (Fawkes, Buckbeak, the Knight Bus, and the Durmstrang ship), one six-sided die to determine how many spaces to move, and one eight-sided die that determines the category to be played. Once the dice have been rolled, clips are watched, questions are asked, and it's revealed just how true a fan you are. Categories span from Colin's Camera (trying to determine an item before the picture is fully developed) to Hagrid's Hut (naming one of the many magical creatures) and from Divination (identifying the character in the crystal ball) to many more. | | All the components that come with this Harry Potter Scene It? Game. | Not an experienced wizard? Don't worry. This game is easy enough to learn and fun enough to play even for those who are not overly familiar with the Harry Potter plots. Some questions can be answered simply by paying close attention to the movie clips, while others are about an actor's work outside of these movies. There are also 30 House Points cards available to help (or occasionally hinder) your progress. If these reasons aren't enough to tempt you into a game on your own, then hop on the Hogwarts Express with a friend or family member and play a few rounds in team mode first. A TV, DVD player, and remote control are needed but not included. The DVD includes an on-screen demonstration of game play. What's in the box - 1 DVD
- 1 Flextime game board
- 1 six-sided die
- 1 eight-sided category die
- 4 collectible metal player tokens
- 160 trivia cards
- 30 House Points cards
- 1 set of exclusive Harry Potter trading cards
- Game play instructions

knowledge November 23, 2008 Leona Davis (lake jackson texas) I got it for my son who is a sports nut. He loved it. It is full of trivia and facts. I would give this to anyone who loves sports and likes a challenge.
Fun But Somewhat Frustrating November 11, 2008 Jeffrey A. Abell (Ohio) I was very excited to find this for sale because my girlfriend and I had been looking for it for quite some time in every store we entered. We are both big fans of the Harry Potter books and the Harry Potter movies. I have read them all twice and she has read them all at least 3 times, and we own all 5 movies. However, playing the game can be a bit of a trying experience. Many of the questions are simply too obscure. Perhaps they are aimed at the totally obsessed Potterphiles. Or maybe I am just too confident in my knowledge of things to admit that I'm not very good at this game. Either way, many of the questions are related to the names of actors who play minor roles, or about the slightest production details that only someone who is completely obsessed with everything Potter would have the slightest chance to know. Obviously, if the questions are too easy the game is no fun, but the same goes for when many of them are simply impossible. Still, the game is fun to play for the most part, and as long as you go in prepared to be absolutely clueless on a large chunk of the questions, you can still enjoy it. I would recommend this only for fairly hardcore Potter fans, though, as casual players will likely be very much in the dark on much of the content. It seems that just having seen the movies is not enough.
Fun for the kids and the adults too September 25, 2008 Eric J. Robertson (New York, NY) This is a great game. We actually have 3 "scene it" games, and this one is played the most. Our 10 and 13 year old girls love it. It's one of the few games that both my wife and I really enjoy playing with the kids. It looks great on the 42" plasma, and it doesn't get boring!
I love this game August 26, 2008 Ms. Lorraine D. Julian (Nashport, OH USA) This game is so much fun. It helps you to remember facts from all the books to help you prepare for the upcoming movie.
Great for Potter fans July 15, 2008 slim If you already know a lot about the Harry Potter movies and books, this game will be interesting and fun for you. If you know "some" about the HP series, this game will probably just frustrate you. My 9-yr-old has read all the books, seen all the movies, but is not able to successfully do many of the puzzles. It is a challenging game, mainly for teens and up, I would say, as far as difficulty. We enjoy playing "Party mode" best, as it doesn't take as long. Scoring is all on the honor system. I consider myself a pretty huge Potter fan, but still couldn't answer many of the questions regarding the actors and such.
