Show your steady hands and elementary structural knowledge in a battle against gravity when you play Jenga, a game of luck and precision. First, assemble the 54 rectangular, hardwood blocks--smooth and shaped just right for stacking--into a three-piece-wide, 18-story tower. Then take turns removing the three-inch blocks one at time, using caution to keep the structure intact while stacking the removed pieces back on the top of the tower. As the tower rises, its base begins to teeter--one wrong move and it collapses in a heap! Game over.Jenga allows adults to play architect and children to perfect their stacking skills and hand-eye coordination. There is no limit on the number of participants--it can even be played solo. But beware: Jenga can be addictive. The instructions declare a 36-story structure to be the mark of a real pro. How tall can you go? --Cate Bick

1. Tape as many Jenga sticks together with masking tape on one side to support a favorite picture that you would like to turn into a special puzzle.
2. Have your child find a any picture they would like to turn into a puzzle (even a favorite photo can work.)
3. Glue whole picture to opposite side of masked taped Jenga.
4. Shellac and allow to dry
5. Use excto knife and cut the picture apart.
6. Remove tape and voila`--your own hand-made puzzle!
Even toddlers can put a 5 piece puzzle of an animal or fruit together and they love creating their own puzzle! Enjoy! Aloha!

A very simple but fun game. My daughter was home sick one day and we played it alot. Best of all, no batteries required and can't break it!!

I played this game a few times over the years, and it's fun, but not exactly something I felt compelled to own.
Many years later, I came across Jenga again, but this time it was combined with a horror/suspense role-playing game. If you like playing RPGs, but don't like being held down by stats, die rolls, and rules, I'd suggest checking out the Dread RPG by Impossible Dream (tiltingatwindmills.net).
Whereas in other horror and suspense RPGs, you can say "my character is feeling scared", in Dread, you can look at the swaying tower and feel as scared as your character is.
Now a Jenga game is a "must-have" in my game closet!

I Actually played it at a friends house but it was hard to put back in it is still fun though. TRUST ME IT HURTS WHEN IT IS THROWN IN YOUR FACE!!!!!!!!!!!!
