4 out of 5 stars Kids Digital Camera   March 15, 2008

I gave the digital camera to my 3 year old nephew on his birthday and as soon as he opened the present he wanted nothing to do with any other gift, he just wanted to play with the camera!

3 out of 5 stars Too much of a delay   January 7, 2008

My biggest problem with this camera is the delay between the time the shutter button is pushed and the picture is actually taken. These are made for "Little Tikes" that don't understand that they have to hold still - we have a lot of pictures of the floor and ceiling as a result. Someone forgot who they were designing this for.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent First Camera- Wish I had one when I was young.   January 7, 2008

I bought two as a Christmas present for my Nephew (4) and my Neice (5). They both loved it and my neice especially was facinated with it and before long she had mastered the camera and learned how to take great pictures with it. You do have to hold the camera very steady to get a good picture but I feel that helps the kids be more aware of what they are doing and it teaches them patience and the skill of holding something steady.

Compared to similarly priced kid-safe cameras, this one is top notch. The screen allows them to see what the picture looks like and being able to put those pictures on the computer like an adult is a lot of fun for them. Holding 1,000 pictures is another HUGE bonus with this camera. By the end of Christmas Day my neice had great shots of the family, some of which I took from her (it's now like having a personal photographer for family parties).

I was afraid I was going to have to spend over a hundred dollars for a quality camera for each of them and was pleasantly surprised with this.

Would definitely buy again for another child!

5 out of 5 stars Great camera.   January 7, 2008

Durable and easy to use. No hard copies necessary. Just as much fun to view the pictures on the computer screen as to print them out. Despite the fact that it is labeled "boy," the camera is suited to either gender. The "girl" one is pink. This one is white with primary colored trim.

I purchased this camera for my 3 year olds birthday and he loves it! It is very durable and lots of fun. He loves to hook it up to the computer with me and see all the pictures he took. Great product for that price too
