5 out of 5 stars One of, if not THE, best toys I've ever purchased.   August 29, 2008
D. Kendall (Cincy)
It's late August and I first purchased a set of Kapla blocks at Christmas. I can say with certainty that this is one of the only toys to get regular play time 8 months later. I originally bought one box of 200 for my nieces & nephew and one box of 50 for myself. Once the other adult family members realized how fun and smart the blocks were, the collection grew to over 700!

The kids are constantly trying new designs and building things with more precision...and when they walk away to do something else, the adults jump in and try their own designs!

I can say with confidence that very few other toys have received as much play-time as these simple little wood blocks have.

5 out of 5 stars Hours of imaginative play   August 26, 2008
A. Gerardi (Batavia, IL USA)
Got these for my kids because they played with them at a museum recently and couldn't get enough. Blocks couldn't be simpler, but the kids love them, and something about how they're made seems to make them less likely to tip over than other building blocks.

5 out of 5 stars Great Set of Blocks!   July 4, 2008
S. Eubanks (Texas)
My four year old received these blocks for his birthday and they haven't been left alone since. They stack amazingly well so we have created so many different things that you cannot do with regular building blocks. I definitely recommend these blocks to anyone looking for a great set of blocks (planks) that allow for a lot of imaginative play - for you and your child.

5 out of 5 stars Amazing blocks   January 12, 2008

These blocks were recommended by a friend and said they were perfect for all ages. As simple as these blocks are, they are amazing. The types of structures you can build are incredible. Because the blocks are so thin, you can make bridges and towers that seem to defy gravity. Fun for kids and adults alike.

5 out of 5 stars wonderful blocks for all ages   January 7, 2008
B. Richardson (San Francisco, CA USA)
This is a great product. Our kids (girl 7 and boy 9) have played with them at a local discovery museum, and spent a lot of time doing crazy constructions. Teenagers and toddlers were playing too, all of them so focused on their creations (no time and energy wasted looking for the right piece - this is such a great concept: all the pieces are the same)! We got the 200 pieces set, and that seems to be just enough for now...
They also last and don't go out of style : my niece is playing with the set that belonged to her mom!
