i like it more htan my kids October 6, 2008 J. Kingsbury (AL United States) great toy for adults - forget the kids... they had problems controlling the flight - adult love it tho- gonne get them for my uncles this christmas
fun and simple entertainment September 13, 2008 Superpig (Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA) This toy is tons of fun and is definitely worth the $25. While it's not very easy to actually control the directions of the helicopter, it's very easy to keep it in the air, and it's more steady than I thought it would be. Some things to look out for: -the helicopter is made out of foam so that it could be light enough to fly. It would easily break if you step on it, but I've dropped mine out of the air hundreds of times and it still works just the same. -the battery life per charge is only about 5 minutes, and then the charge takes about 20 minutes, but this is so that the battery inside the copter wouldn't weigh too much. -6 AA batteries are required for the remote control. Overall, this helicopter is a unique and affordable gift idea that is sure to be appreciated. Of course, it doesn't really have to be a gift, I just got one for myself because I was curious...
3rd times a charm September 7, 2008 Michael A. Moore (Houston) I purchased this for my son's 9th birthday. He was thrilled to finally have a R/C toy. For the first hours, everything pointed in the direction that this was the perfect toy. Then, he came to me and told me that the copter would not quite spining out of control. After removing hair from the tail motor, the unit seem to be back in business. This only laster for about another 30 minutes, when he came to me with a broken tail rotor. They give extras, so 5 minutes later he was flying again for about 30 minutes, then something else went wrong. After 3 major shut downs, I decided that he was just being to abusive to the device. So, I took it over and tried to play with it. After an attempt to gain control of the unit, I realized that this toy had a destiny just to "break". I returned it to Target and exchanged it for another one. We got about 3 days of usage out of this one, but the same problems occured. After returning it for the 3rd copter, it seems that this one may make it more than 3 days, but I have already had to glue the rear "support" and replace the tail rotor. I'm at the point now, where you get what you paid for, and this toy is only designed for "in frequent" usage and a room without furniture! Be careful when buying. I recommend it, but with caution!
Cool Helicopter August 29, 2008 R. Leverette It's definately not as good as one of the nicer more expensive ones. But its easy to get the hang of the controls and its really durable. Its made of styrofoam so it doesn't look like it, but I've crashed mine probably 50+ times and its still going strong. If you want to fly it outdoors you have to have no wind. That goes for indoors too, the air conditioner vent at my house is enough to send it into the wall. But I'm happy with my purchase, its a good start if your not sure about the RC helicopter thing and don't want to spend much. I would recommend this product to a friend.
EASY, FUN! August 15, 2008 Ronald Cahill (Ocean Shores, WA) Having tried several other helicopeters in this price range, I was VERY impressed with the ease of flying and control of this helicopter. Could use a little more duribility in the tail section, but over all an exceptional value!
