Great Advent Calendar! December 2, 2008 sportsmomx2 Great advent calendar! My son loved it. He can't wait to open each day to see what is next!Well worth it.
A new Lego every day for 24 days. November 24, 2008 YodaOK (upstate/central NY) I've been purchasing Lego Advent Calendars for my daughter for 5 years now. She loves opening the door every day to see what small item she is going to get to build. The Calendars in the past few years have changed to have a lot more people and less little items to build. It's fun to create your own little scene with all the items that you get once all the doors have been opened. If this year is like past years (we haven't opened any doors yet because Dec. 1st is a week away yet), the instructions for putting the project together is printed on the flap of the door that you open. This is a great way for kids (and adults that love Legos too) to countdown the days to the Holiday. It's like having 24 little presents. Can't wait to start opening doors next week!
Month-long fun! November 24, 2008 Jodi L. Plume (Smithsburg, MD USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
My son looks forward to receiving the Lego Advent Calendar for his birthday (11/26) every year. All of his friends were jealous when they saw this come out of his birthday bag. It is a great present for kids of all ages.
great item November 22, 2008 Jennifer L. Morris (Pottsville, PA) This product is great for a lego lover. My 5 year old son sometimes has a hard time with the big lego's and I end up putting them together for him, but this was easy for him and he ended up putting them all together in one day.
Not what I expected. November 22, 2008 Tracy Johnson 4 out of 9 found this review helpful
I was very disappointed after receiving this LEGO product. The box shows this fabulous Christmas scene. Seeing this picture on my computer screen, I thought it would have lots of LEGO doors and that you could build this scene from the parts you found everyday. No, the cardboard box has the doors in it. When you poke through you find tiny pieces that you can put together. It doesn't really make the scene it shows on the box. I expected a lot more from a LEGO product.
