I have always wanted a LEGO jetfighter, and I was really excited to buy it. I was a bit disappointed to discover that the cockpit hood doesn't have hinges and open upward. The hood is one single piece, and to access the cockpit, you simply pull off the entire piece off the airplane. I was so expecting the cockpit hood to open in some cool way, but oh well. Still a really cool toy overall, so no stars were taken off.

I got this for my 11 year old son. He loves it!! He spends hours playing with it and building new things, and now is collecting all of the sets! Beats the video games!!
