3 out of 5 stars Expect it to last about a month...   November 25, 2008

The bounce house is a fun toy, my 3-year-old daughter and her friends all love it.

However, it has two big drawbacks. First, the minute kids get in it, the first thing they want to do is tip it over. It tips easily and the kids think this is great fun, until they hit their heads on the floor. Tipping over the house also leads to problem number two: The bounce house is not very durable. Ours started springing leaks after about a month. It now has 3 holes, one in each air chamber. The holes are difficult to patch as they are on the seams and in the corners where the toy is often stretched in different directions (especially when tipped!)This stretching tends to peel off the patches.

Also, the patch kit that comes with the bounce house is a joke, it does not work at all! I bought one used for repairing inflatable boats which worked a little better, except as indicated above.

All in all, I can't recommend buying this until Little Tykes devises a way to keep the thing from tipping over so easily.

By the way, in the ads for this, you see two kids happily bouncing. On the warning label it says only one child at a time. What fun is that?

The warning label also says-- and I swear I am not making this up -- "Do not jump on this toy as it may cause irreparable damage." Kind of defeats the whole purpose , doesn't it?

Not commercial grade, so doesnt last as long as i would have liked. the company exchanged for me after 3 weeks. There just seems to be a slow leak in the bottom portion all the time. I will say it is more durable than the castle bounce house I bought before. If you dont mind a weekly refilling, then go for it!

This Bounce House is such a HUGE hit with my 2 1/2 year old. She is in it everyday, several times a day. Great exercise, she loves to somersault in it & the battle to stop jumping on the furniture is over! The size is perfect for indoors, taking up just a corner of her toy room. Like most other inflatables you have to add air occasionally.

I have a 4 year old girl and a 18 month boy. They love it. Always in it playing. The only draw back is that the velcro ripped after the second or third time using it. Returned it got a new one and it had a small leak that the kit could not stop. Currently waiting on the third one, hopefully this will be the one since my daughter has been asking for it non-stop.

We got this for our 2 and a hlf year old daughter as she is just bouncy crazy! She loved it from day 1 and is still bouncing happily now. It is the perfect size for indoor and outdoor use and is so easy to inflate and deflate. Brilliant product for the money.
