Product Description
The Grand Central Terminal offers the same classic GeoTrax play that kids love, now with the addition of articulated figures. There's so much to explore in the main terminal building, which is the central hub of all the action. There is an information area with a destination board, food and vending stations and an elevator with mechanical action. Drop cargo through to the lower level, or make your way to the train yard. Two platform areas -- one for passengers and one for cargo -- connect to the upper level by an escalator and conveyer belt. On the cargo platform, kids can lift and load cargo with the crane.

Playset comes with a sleek, fast-moving R/C passenger train named Sonic, featuring two attached passenger cars, fun sounds and forward/reverse action. Also includes three figures: Sam, the conductor, and two passengers. All figures fit into the vehicles for a complete play experience. Comes with play cargo pieces and 14 pieces of Snap-Lock track for multiple configurations. Requires 6 "AAA" batteries, not included. Measures 43"L x 36"W x 11"H.

Amazon.com Product Description
Complete with a fast, remote-controlled train, an exciting main terminal building, train tracks, and passengers, the Fisher Price GeoTrax Rail and Road System Grand Central Station provides hours of creative fun for children ages 2-1/2 and up. It is a part of Fisher Price's line of GeoTrax toys.

A Train Powered by Imagination! By using the remote control, your child can make Aero the Engine speed along the track and pull into Central Station, with his driver, Eric, right inside! Send the passengers up and down the station's elevator, or put them on the train for an exciting ride. Load up the train with cargo using the crane. Thanks to the power of your child's imagination, the possibilities are endless.

Durable and Easy to Use The toy is constructed from durable plastic and features large pieces perfect for little hands. The big, easy-to-use remote control makes the train go backward or forward and has a range of about 12 feet. It includes an automatic shut-off feature to preserve battery life. The sturdy train track snaps together easily in a variety of configurations, and the whole set can be used with other GeoTrax accessories. Adult assembly is required; you will need a Phillips screwdriver. The remote control and train engine require three AAA batteries apiece.

4 out of 5 stars Fisher-Price Geotrax Rail and Road System   November 29, 2008
Charles F. Farrell (Boston, MA when not racing)
I find this item to be very appropriate for a 3 1/2 year old. It does present intellectual and manipulative challenges while still providing a good deal of fun in the mean time. It does move a little slow and would be nice if it had a speed selector switch to meet the needs of a developing user. I do approve of this toy and I see it being passed on to a present 9 month old which speaks well for durability. The automatic shut off is very appropriate.

5 out of 5 stars Best Gift Ever   November 24, 2008
Merri M. Anderson (Lubbock, TX USA)
I bought this train set for my first daughter when she was 3 (she is now 6). She played with it constantly. My second daughter who is 2 1/2 is now starting to play with it all the time. It is simple enough that even the little ones love it and don't get frustrated. And it is tough. My girls have really beaten the trains and tracks up but they still look brand new and everything works great. The perfect gift for girls or boys. Note to parents: buy extra track, you can never have too much.

4 out of 5 stars Love this set!   November 19, 2008
Lisa Scher (Chicago)
We got this train set in September, and my son still plays with it everyday! He will sit there and watch the trains go round and round for hours! I love the fact he is so interested in something! The entire set is so durable and easy for him to use. Most toys need the parents help to assemble and play with. Not this one! He changes the tracks himself, sets up the trains, and watches them go! It's also really popular with the older children. There is just something so classic about a trian set. I'm glad someone finally updated it!

5 out of 5 stars Love the GeoTrax sets   November 17, 2008
D. M. Caddeo (Millersville, MD United States)
My son got a set of GeoTrax when he was 3 years old and he's since expanded it to include several sets. They are all durable and all lots of fun and we now have an entire bedroom full of this stuff. All 3 kids (and the adults as well) love to build and play with this stuff for hours. It's the only thing all 3 kids can play together most of the time with minimal fighting.

My only warning if you get into the GeoTrax world is that stock up on AAA batteries or find rechargables. Each train and remote takes 3 batteries each and it seems like it isn't too long before we are replacing them, mostly because they get so much use!

Jazzy. (Socal)
we have been collecting GeoTrax for about 2 years now. We started off with this set, and have bought all of the add-ons i.e.mountain, police/fire stations, extra trains, airport etc. My 6 year old still loves this set! It is a easy, hands on electric train, far better than the one my dad bought for his a few years ago. Also, I love the add-ons, it really personalizes the experience. We had to get a train table to accomodate all of the pieces we have now LOL.
